Leroy was rescued from a box with his brothers and sisters that someone left on the side of the road when they were all just born. Leroy had a bad infection on his neck from the previous owner leaving a flea collar on for far too long. We nursed him back to health and he is a strong young adult now. Unfortunately, we have a baby in the home and Leroy is just too playful to be around our son. Leroy is very loyal and protective.

Picture this… ☀️ A warm patch of sunshine on the living room floor. 🛏 A fluffy bed nearby. 🐶 And right in the middle of it? Mozart. An approximately 4-year-old male Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, who weighs in at 83 lbs. of lovable mutt! Stretched out. Completely relaxed. Soaking in the sun like he personally requested it. That’s our boy. But wait — because when he lifts his head to look at you… you’ll notice something that makes him extra unforgettable. Mozart is missing part of his jaw. It does not impact him medically. He eats just fine. He plays just fine. He lives his best life just fine. But his giant tongue? It adorably hangs out of the side of his mouth. All. The. Time. And it is LITERALLY the cutest thing. It gives him this permanently derpy, silly, lovable expression that makes strangers smile and hearts melt instantly. It perfectly matches his personality — a little goofy, a lot sweet, and completely endearing. Now back to the full Mozart experience… Five minutes after sunbathing like a distinguished gentleman, he’s outside launching into joyful zoomies with his foster siblings. Big spins. Play bows. Wrestle sessions that look like choreographed chaos. Then he trots back inside, finds the softest surface available, and becomes a total puddle again. He LOVES soft spots. He LOVES toys (bring on the durable ones — heavy chewer alert). He LOVES cuddles. Deeply. And he really, really LOVES food. If food exists within a 10-foot radius, Mozart will know. Please keep counters clear — this boy is highly treat motivated and currently learning his basic commands. He can be a little hard-headed (we prefer “independently minded”), but snacks work wonders. This handsome guy is Benson! Benson is an approximately 5.5-year-old Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd male who weighs around 100 lbs. He was rescued (with his brother Mozart) from a local shelter. Great with other dogs all sizes! His best friend is Mozart his brother. Prefers more laid back instead of hyper dogs. Good with cats. Good with kids as long as they are respectful of his space. Shy/timid at first really needs to feel safe to open up. Once opened up he is such a lover and has small bursts of energy. Shuts down in loud environments (not a dog park kind of guy). Prefers outside and to have his own space but doesn't mind a small cuddle session. Not a fan of car rides, he is learning to enjoy walks. Benson prefers just to hang out, every now and again he loves a good stuffed toy. He loves attention but once he is done wants to find a quiet spot and sleep. Benson finds confidence in having another dog around and would do best with another dog in his future home. Benson loves food and food shouldn't be left out he will get it. Can jump over a 4-foot fence needs 6-foot or higher stockade fence. Very sweet very gentle, needs someone who will be patient and kind to him. Crate trained, potty trained, learning to be trusted out of the crate. Does well on a leash. Benson is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Dottie is an independent dog who loves being outside and to chill out inside. She is a typical Pyrenees and takes her job of patrolling the yard very seriously. She is great with people but needs to be the only pet in a house as she does not get along with other animals. She is currently living with me in a home with another dog because her dad abandoned her after our divorce. She needs a home where she can live inside and play outside.

Sweet, smart little guy. Will probably be about 80 pounds grown though. All puppy but is learning so fast. Has been around cats and he wants to play and eat their food but no aggression with them at all. Of course they are not fond of a pesky puppy. He is not housebroken but is going outside to do his #2, just squats quickly to pee, so working on that. He has had 2 sets of vaccinations and will be ready for neuter when age appropriate. This is a courtesy listing so if interested, we will direct you to the application. Keep in mind he will be a big furry boy so plan on lots of brushing and regular grooming.
