Story
We received Bandit two years ago from a coworker. He was a puppy and he came from a farm home. He is 3/4 great pyrenese, and his mother is a Husky. He will turn three in July. He is house trained and primarily lives in the house. We live on 2.5 acres, but he is constantly escaping. I just cant keep him in. We only have about half an acre fenced in and it's just not enought to keep him happy. We also have no livestock for him to gaurd and so he gets bored. He's killed over 15 of the neighbors chickens over two years and he even got his brother shot. The most recent encounter created a dust up with the neighbor and I'm afraid it is becoming a life abd death situation for him. We desperately need to rehome him. We have a four year old daughter and six year old son and he is super sweet with them, never showing any sign of aggression. He's great with other dogs, but has not been exposed to smaller pets. WILL KILL CHICKENS.

Story
Meet Madison – Your Future Fluffy Adventure Buddy! Say hello to Madison, a 4.5-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as her paws! This Oklahoma sweetheart was found in a rural area and is now thriving in her foster home, soaking up love, learning the ropes, and spreading joy wherever she goes. Madison is all puppy – playful, goofy, and full of life! She loves romping around with her doggy friends and would do best in a home with larger dogs who can match her energy and size. She’s still learning just how big she is, so tiny pups might find her enthusiasm a bit overwhelming. This smart girl has already figured out that cats are friends, not chase toys, and she’s respectful of her feline foster siblings. While she hasn’t started leash training yet (she’s still finishing her vaccines), Madison is confident, curious and ready to explore the world with her forever family. When she’s not zooming around the yard or playing with toys, Madison is happy to curl up for a nap and recharge. She’s very treat-motivated and loves praise, which makes training a breeze – though she’s still working on making the best choices (puppy brain, you know?). If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly clumsy cuddlebug who’s ready to grow into your best friend, Madison is your girl. She’s got the fluff, the charm, and the heart – all she needs now is a home to call her own. Madison is spayed, current on age appropriate vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225. Story
We did an attempt to rehome Jack, letting the original owner know it was not guarantee, and we would let her know if it didn't work out. After one day we informed original owner, it would not work for our family because he was too timid and is scared of my husband, and original owner has refused to take him back. It has now been almost one week, and still unable to get the owner to take Jack back, we are unable to keep him. Jack seems to be a loyal dog to his direct owner. Original owner did say she can take him back in September, but we cannot keep Jack very much longer. Someone please help Jack!

Meet Belle, our beautiful and loyal Great Pyrenees, who we’ve raised since she was just a month old. We brought her home from a farm, and she’s grown into a calm, mature, and deeply protective companion. Belle is: 2 years old Gentle, loyal, and watchful Protective in a caring, quiet way Good with people she trusts Comfortable outdoors and needs space to roam She thrives in a peaceful, loving environment with room to stretch her legs — a yard or land would be perfect. Belle is not hyper or demanding. She simply wants a calm home where she can feel safe and be part of the family. We’re hoping to find a home that respects her calm nature and values her as the loyal companion she is. If you’re looking for a wise, protective, and gentle soul, Belle might be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Porter! He is a 3 year old, 70 lb tripod doggo! He is likely a Great Pyrenees/Australian Cattle Dog mix but gives total Golden Retriever vibes! Porter came to our rescue as a puppy and needed a leg amputation after sustaining a bad broken leg. He recovered beautifully and was quickly adopted. He spent the last two years with his adoptive family until he was recently returned. Porter is house trained and kennel trained but he does great out and about by himself when his people are away. He knows some of his basic commands and does well on a leash. He is also good in the car! Like any Great Pyr guardian, he loves to spend time outside, patrolling the fence and yard for you, and watching out the window. Porter is a sweet boy and enjoys people, big and small. He likes to be near his humans, whether that is near you when on the couch or on the floor by your bed. He just likes to keep you company. He can get a little clingy during storms but just being near you is enough. His storm anxiety is mild. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small. He is even respectful of his 5 lb chihuahua foster sibling. He is a fun guy and and likes to play with other dogs! He can play with dogs his size but currently is loving playing with his 25 lb foster sibling. He would be best in a home without cats; he just finds them way too interesting. He really enjoys Nyla bones and recently discovered a love for de-stuffing squeaky toys. This fluffy guy gets around great on three legs and handles a handful of stairs just fine! A whole flight of stairs may be difficult on him as he ages, but a few steps treat him just fine. He doesn't have any special needs and doesn't take any medications. This beautiful boy has so much to offer and will make an incredible companion! You can send inquiries to our adoption team at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application Porter is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.
