WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Harley - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Harley and it comes from the Old English origin meaning 'Hare Meadow', which represents a peaceful and serene image. Just nothing like seeing a Pyr laying in the yard watching! Unfortunately my elderly owner is not able to care for me any longer but I'm trying not to let it get me down as I look for another family to adopt. Did you know that I came from royalty? The Pyrenees breed came from France where we made our way up from being a peasant farmers dog to the royal court being named the royal dog of France in 1675. Even Queen Victoria had a Pyr. We are strong willed and can sometimes be stubborn but more importantly we are affectionate, patient, confident, fearless and gentle. It is said that we wouldn't make a good breed for first timers but if you're aware of the negative traits (sometimes stubborn & lots of hair) along with the awesome good traits, we could definitely make it work. As a youngster at only around a year and a half old, I do have some basic obedience training, am well mannered, I don't jump up unless invited and have a sweet, loving warm nature that just adores getting 'good boys' from my people. I am a big boy of snowy white fluff. I will need several weekly brushings to keep my royal self tangle free and looking dapper and the vacuum will be an extension of your arm with me around but the reward of my adoring love for you will sooooo be worth it!! A couple of daily 45 minute walks a day should be enough to keep me happy. With that daily exercise in I can do quite well in town with a yard or in the country. I fall into the 3 G category which is Gorgeous, Gentle and Giant. Instinctively nurturing with the flock or family, we do make great family members. Just make sure the couch is big enough for sharing!!! My breed tend to love being with the family and are content to lay at or on your feet or curled up with you on that big enough couch. I'm here to adopt me a family and since you're reading this you must being missing something special in your life too, could it possibly be...ME?!!

Hey everyone, my name is Itza and it's a pleasure meeting y'all here...on my post. But I'm really hoping to meet you... in person, as your newest family member!! I'm a beautiful inside and out youngster of about 6 months. I've got the sweet nature along with a gorgeous coat of soft fluffiness. I was found with a broken back leg that an orthopedic surgeon fixed up for me. I was back to playing and running within the week. Nuttin gonna stop me from living my best life and having a blast doing it!! I'm just waiting on that one other lil thing...a family to really have it ALL! I come in at around 40ish lbs. I have a little more growing yet to do before I get myself all the way growed up but still will be a pawsome size for any and all of our adventures we can go on together. I've got that special sweetness about me that does great with...everyone! People both tall and small, other pups, even cats! I haven't been around any livestock yet but with proper introductions I could be fine with them also. I'm active, playful and a happy happy gal that would have a complete life...with a family, could that possibly be with YOUR family?!!! I'm hoping and dreaming that I'll get to meet you real soon to start this crazy beautiful relationship! Fill out my adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Meet Bentley! He is a 14 week old Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix. Bentley is fully vaccinated, neutered, AND microchipped! He is working diligently on potty training, crate training, socializing and learning some obedience skills along the way. He is sleeping through the night 95% of the time and trying to get up to 100%. He is very comfortable in the crate!  Bentley enjoys playing with his brother and foster siblings, he has a bit of an awkward play style that involve lots of play bows and bouncing in circles. He is a sweet, funny boy! He's is curious of his foster mom's cats but is still respectful of their space. He doesn't not appreciate when they hiss at him and will immediately leave them alone when they tell him enough funny business. As far as people go, he loves everyone he meets! His scruffy look is equally adorable as unique. If he sounds like the puppy for you, please apply for him today! Adoptable from Paws Across Pittsburgh on or after 05/19/2024.  ##2055859##

Story
Adoption donation $499 weight  84 lbs Age: 1 year as of 3/23/2024          Logan is a friendly and sweet boy whose father was a purebred Great Pyrenees and mom was a 35 lbs mixed breed. Logan loves to run and play, he is good with all the dogs in his foster home and he is house trained, but like any rescue  may need some training and patience while he settles in at a new home.       Logan loves toys and bones and attaches strongly to his person, he will follow his Foster Mom around and likes to lie at her feet. He also loves to lay his big head on your lap!           Logan’s original owners in Mississippi put two of his sisters in a cardboard box in front of their house with a sign that said “free puppies.” Wags rescued the puppies and found them loving homes. The owners refused to give up Logan and his sister Lila but kept them tied up outdoors.        Wags was finally able to  convince them to relinquish the two and Logan and Lila went to the rescue, enjoying freedom for the first time.       Lila has just been adopted, now it’s time for  Logan to find a loving home of his own. Logan  would love a yard to run around in or  another dog to play with. He has  been around children and has been fine with them, he just loves to be part of the family, All Wags adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip  and transport to the northeast.
