Badger is a 7-month-old (as of 8/24/26) male Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix who is looking for a home that is well acquainted with livestock guardians and the special something that they bring to daily life! He is currently around 68 pounds with a ton of growing yet to do! We aren`t certain what his adult weight will be, but project that it will easily be in the 120-150 pound range.Badger is a sweet boy who came to us as the result of a family emergency. This kid is ALL puppy, regardless of how big he already is. He has lived in a home before, but we aren`t sure how much training he received, so expect to begin at the beginning with this boy. He is an outgoing social boy - a wonderful temperament without question. He seems fine with other dogs, but in anticipation of his eventual growing up, we prefer that he be placed with female dogs only if there is a resident dog. He would probably be just fine with dog savvy kids, but his size could be a little much for the small, so older kids are preferred. We have not had the opportunity to cat test him but believe he may have been exposed to them in the past and could be fine if trained to respect them. Out of respect for his breed mix, Badger will require a home with an actual physical fence. Livestock guardians, especially Great Pyrs, are well known for having a walkabout every so often. A fence will go a long way towards preventing this and keeping this boy safe and sound. Livestock guardian breeds have historically been bred to be very independent thinkers. Training can be a study in frustration. This is a huge part of the reason we will be placing him in an experienced home. This mix is incredibly smart, they just require a little outside the box thinking to train them properly! We anticipate that Badger will be protective of his house and property, and we want him to be in a place where that fact is acknowledged and respected and handled well. We understand that he is sweet and fluffy and adorable, but this is not a dog for everyone. In truth, Anatolians are a breed that are even more true to their historical roots than Pyrs are, which makes an experienced home even more important. She is young, she is cute, she came in with another female dog (who is also available) with whom she lived happily and peacefully. She lived peacefully with children, ... she is very sweet and we haven`t found anything bad to say about her. She is a gem and you should definitely snatch her up before somebody else does. She is one of those perfect dogs you hear about. ❤️ Help Us Find Scout & Sierra Their Retirement Farm ❤️ This is an incredibly difficult post for me to make, but I'm starting early because finding the right home for these two is far more important to me than finding one quickly. Our family hobby farm is being sold, which means that eventually I will need to find a new home for our two beloved Great Pyrenees, Scout and Sierra. They are 10 and 9 years old, both spayed/neutered, and have spent their lives together on our farm. They are a bonded pair and will only be placed together. For years, Scout and Sierra have lived outdoors on approximately two acres of fenced pasture with access to a large barn. They have lived alongside and helped watch over goats, alpacas and chickens. Scout is our big, gentle sweetheart. Sierra is the queen of the farm—and definitely the boss of Scout. Sierra has one important consideration: she does not do well with other female dogs. Both are incredibly sweet, gentle and affectionate with people!

I have had Topato since she was a puppy she was born on a porch in the middle of winter and needed a home. We’ve moved through multiple states (so she’s great in cars) and I think that stress has finally caught up with her and the apartment life just isn’t for her. In the past we have had huge yards and now that we don’t have one I think she is unhappy. So that’s definitely something I’m looking for in her new home. I am constantly busy with work and can’t give her the attention she deserves. Shes 6 years old (bday nov 20) so smart, loves food, and loves to cuddle. Her favorite trick is to spin. She loves the outdoors. She was raised with other dogs but she hasn’t been around any in awhile so unsure of how she would do freshly introduced. She’s great with cats doesn’t bother them if they want nothing to do with her and doesn’t mind if they wanna cuddle. Zero experience being around children. She’s a sweety pie just a little anxious at times.

What a fun combo for a dog! He gets super excited when he sees me getting my tennis shoes on, or my ball cap because he knows it means we're going hiking. He's 100 pounds of lean handsomeness. LOL. He does well as a couch potato and is calm in the house on a normal quiet day. He is house trained, crate trained and does well with other non dominant dogs. He loves playing fetch with any ball, and if you don't have time to play, Buck plays by himself. I'm looking for a home without young children because Buck does have herding/guarding tendencies. Buck is looking for someone who loves the big boys, and can handle them. Bucks adoption fee is $200, and includes all up to date vaccines, neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventative, and endless love and appreciation from BUCK!
