Story
Meet Lyla 🤍 Lyla is a sweet, gentle girl who can be a bit timid at first but warms up with time. She’s respectful on leash, neutral around other dogs, and does very well around them. She simply prefers calm, respectful dogs who don’t get up in her face. She’s not an “all over the place” dog and truly thrives in quiet, predictable environments. New situations can still spook her, so a slower lifestyle outside of a busy city would be ideal. Lyla is currently on a weight-loss journey, making proper leash walks an important part of her routine. At home, she’s a total couch potato and happiest relaxing in a calm space. She may be shy around new people at first but is very sweet once she feels safe. A quiet home where she has a safe space of her own and a patient, supportive human would be the perfect match. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Tyson is a gentle giant that was surrendered when his family was moving and could not take him along. He is 2 years old and weighs in at 71 pounds. Tyson loves going on walks and loves getting attention. He is a sensitive guy that may need some time make friends. He does have a longer coat so he will need someone that understands that he will need regular grooming to keep him from getting matted. He did live with another smaller dog and adored them! He also lived with cats and children and did well with them. Tyson knows sit, and will give a paw! Tyson would love to have another chance at a loving forever home soon! He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm/lyme tested, and microchipped since his arrival at the shelter.
