Story
Gatsby is 14 months old. In April 2025 we brought him home at just 8 weeks old from a farm. He’s had the sweetest temperament we’ve ever seen in a dog. He’s incredibly loving and naturally protective, and he does wonderfully with both children and other animals. For a puppy, he’s unusually calm—and we expect him to become even more easygoing as he matures. He especially loves the snow and can’t resist chasing squirrels.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER :   Mr. Popular! Max/Cottontail gets along with everyone! Except chickens!   HISTORY : Max (FKA Cottontail) was the biggest pup in Bunny’s litter and was raised using the Puppy Protocol with proper socialization. He was adopted by a wonderful family with other dogs, cats, kids and a farmette with chickens. He went to an office with the owners every day and enjoyed time with visitors between naps. Max enjoyed playtime until he met the few chickens that he could catch and play a bit rough with. The adopters thought it best to return him to us to find him another home.      PERSONALITY : Max is friendly, laid back, curious, brave and loving. He is very food motivated so he would be easy to train for any advanced tasks. He knows sit, paw, come (in his own time). He goes to a dog friendly office every day and is not reactive, sleeps, greets with a tail wag and is learning not to jump up and hug new friends.  FAVORITE ACTIVITIES : Meeting new friends, chewing all types of gullet sticks, antlers, kong, filled bones, treats and surgically removing squeakers from stuffies between naps.   MEDICAL ISSUES : NONE. Up to date on all vaccines.  Neutered, rear deux claws removed. Max has been exposed to all types of proteins with no issues. Like most dogs, consistent food keep his tummy happy.  He eats 2x per day. He is not a picky eater.  WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME : He would be best around his people and another dog. He has manners and is a gentleman but still needs some structure and guidance. He is still a puppy but a mature one. He would love to be active and have a job to do. Boredom is his nemesis. He enjoys a schedule and his naps. He loves riding In the car so would be a fabulous travel companion. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS : Max just had a first visit to the groomer and did well. Not a fan of the noises of the dryer or the cremel on his nails but, he would get used to it with more experience. He is shedding a bit now in the spring but has not been a big shedder like his Pyrenees momma. His DNA Test came back with 53% Pyrenees from his pure bred momma as well as chow, lab, and lots of others mixed in.   Click here to watch a video of Cottontail (Max).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Does your family have a big yard, a sense of humor, and maybe a creek nearby, because Hugo would like to submit his application to join you! This five-month-old Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix is 45 pounds of clumsy, curious, wide-eyed puppy energy, and he is somehow getting goofier by the day. He is the kind of puppy who makes everyone smile without even trying. Hugo is already doing remarkably well for a baby his size. He is crate trained without a peep, has had zero accidents in the house, and rides quietly in his crate during car trips. He walks reasonably well on a leash, aside from occasionally deciding it looks like a fun thing to carry in his mouth. He is learning his name and has a very solid understanding of the word no, which says a lot about how smart this boy is. Hugo is obsessed with water and will make a beeline for any creek or puddle he can find. He loves squeaky toys, romping with his dog housemates, and napping on his back with all four gigantic paws straight up in the air, which is as hilarious as it sounds. He is also in full teething mode, so anything left at puppy level is fair game, and his future family will want to plan accordingly. He is a total blank slate, soaking up everything around him and watching his housemates navigate the world one goofy step at a time. Hugo would do best in a home with other friendly dogs to learn from, plenty of space to run, and a patient family ready to invest in training this big, bright, loveable goofball into something truly spectacular. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 21, 2026, 5:43 pm
