Sonny is a classic example of his Great Pyrenees Mix breed: loving and deeply bonded to his human. Since the Christmas of 2019, he began his life as a puppy with us, and we couldn't be more thankful. Unfortunately, this past year has come with several schedule issues due to elder care constraints and full-time teaching positions. This has caused Sonny to not receive the attention and care that he deserves. Sonny also has some food aggressive and territorial behaviors as a result of his guardian breed. He thrives best in a no pet, adult-only household where he can freely give all that he has to offer. He is best known for greeting people with a wagging tail and infectious smile. When you are having a bad day, he loves nothing more than to lean on you to provide comfort and cuddles. His name even comes from the famous song "I've Got You Babe". Update I originally had they were 11 years old. That was a mistake!!!! I rescued this dog a year ago. She is approximately 2 years old. She is very sweet. She has a sister as well. We love them but they are too much for us to handle. They like to roam and I constantly have to go find them. I have to keep them locked up all the time which is not fair at all. They need land to roam which I dont have. I have tried for over a year but it is not working out. They are very loving dogs. Love everybody. The other ones name is Star. I just had surgery and are not able to go find them all the time. They would be great for a farm. Please help me!

I’ve had Maggie since she was a puppy, she has some anxiety but is a very lovable pup. Unfortunately she has been killing our chickens and with hopes to get more farm animals we cannot keep her. She gets along with boy dogs but does not get along with girl dogs. She’s scared of thunderstorms and fireworks and needs someone who will be patient and loving towards her. She’s turning 6 in November so as you can imagine this will be a tough transition for both us and her. Seeking a kind, loving, and patient home for our sweet girl.

Appears purebred — double rear dewclaws ✅, GP-standard coat and eye color — though not DNA-confirmed. ♂️ Sex: Male 💉 Vetting: Neutered, microchipped, up to date on rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella; heartworm negative; current on flea & heartworm prevention; and dewormed. 👧🐶🐱 Good with: Dogs, cats, and kids — friendly with everyone but still has puppy energy, so supervision is best with very young children. He has not been tested around chickens or other livestock. ⚕️ Aggression or medical issues?: None 💖 He can come off intimidating at first because he’s a loud talker and will bark when meeting new animals — classic Pyrenees alerting behavior! But he’s never been reactive or aggressive.
