Story
Meet Lilly! Fixed: yes Chipped: Yes Shot: UTD Age: 2-3 years Breed: Great Pyrenees Size of pet: Large Heartworm Status: Negative on prevention Good with kids: Yes, older kids. May be too big for little ones. Dogs: Has been ok with other LSG large breed dogs that are dog friendly. Cats: Unknown Other critters: Wants to chase small furries (squirrels for example) Livestock: Unknown Lilly is SO sweet and loving to people. She is very easy to handle and doesn’t mind being brushed. She loves to be petted on and loves belly rubs. She is getting better walking on a leash but can be flighty. She’s a bit unsure of car rides, but is doing better and can be transported with careful supervision. She does the Pyr paw and just wants to be close to her humans. She’s also able to be independent and alone during the work day. Lilly has been kept outside and does well as long as she has access to water, shade and a cooled area. She does not care much about getting in a doggy wading pool but enjoys drinking from it. Lilly had been allowed inside the house for short periods of supervised time and would need some time to adjust to inside living. She is not crate trained yet and prefers to be free and able to roam. She needs a large fenced yard where she can move around and play. She likes to roam (what Great Pyrenees doesn’t?!) so fencing should be fully secured in height and depth. Lilly does not enjoy loud noises (fireworks and storms) and is best kept inside during those times with supervision because of how scared she gets. For a LSG dog she is not overly vocal at night, but will bark if concerned about something. She is a total sweetheart and is learning commands, but has a stubborn side if she’s just not feeling it. However, her love for people will not keep her far from you. She demonstrates protective tendencies towards the area she considers her’s (more so unknown dogs than people). Eats kibble x 2 a day and enjoys cheese and treats of raw meat. Unclear if she has any history of working with livestock. Lilly is so deserving of a forever family with some room for her to enjoy!

Story
"My name is Davy Crockett, but my friend's call me Rocky Crock Tennessee from the Davy Crockett song. I am a lab and Pyr and I'm 2 and a half years old and sooo pretty. I have been with my family over 2 years, but now their landlord says I have to go by 9/8, because I am too big! I weigh 78 pounds - I am tall and lean. I am house trained. I have current shots and microchip. My mom just got my new heart guard chewables. I am fixed.I am a busy boy who loves attention. I like to play games or chase a toy, or both! I love rawhide bones and will throw them in the air and catch them myself. I know lots of Pyrs don't like water or toys, but I do! I also like to Pyr patrol in the yard and tell my human friends about people or cars nearby, I'm awesome at home security. I also make sure the squirrels don’t take over the backyard. I usually walk 3 miles each morning with my mom on the leash. I would do best being an only dog. I haven’t been around cats, young kids or livestock.

He is the sweetest most gentle dog. He loves to cuddle. He lets you know when he has to go to the bathroom. He doesn`t cry unless you leave him in a room alone but even then he`s getting better at that. He is not disturb by other animals. He is protective. He is easy going. The only thing he loves more than food is his tummy rubs and behind the ear scratches
