Cowboy showed up at my property on January 1. There had been a lot of gun fire, thunder and fireworks. The Vet said he was about a year old. We have kept him for three year’s. I run a grooming and boarding facility. He is perfect with all dogs and my cats outside. The trouble is in the house, he gaurds all food bowls and where the the other dogs can go. He has never bit, but snaps. It has gotten uncomfortable for my other three dogs, they don’t want to pass him. I don’t think it’s fair to the dogs to live in fear of him. That’s the only reason, that I have decided to surrender him. I hope to find a family that he can love and be the loving dog he is. He is terrified of gun fire, fireworks and thunder. I do medicate him or give him CBD for dogs.. We have six foot fences to keep him from jumping them, when he is scared.

Meet Diesel (aka Mr. Floof)! Diesel is a friendly, sweet 1.5 year old Great Pyrenes mix weighing about 70 pounds. Diesel loves car rides and going on adventures. He would be a great protector to watch over your property, thus the GP. He has nice manners in the house, is kennel trained and walks nicely on a leash. He will need some reminders about not jumping when he’s excited. Diesel has a lot of energy and loves to play and run! The perfect adopter will appreciate a dog who loves lots of attention, petting and grooming, and who wants to be your best friend. Diesel is a gentle giant with a soft personality. His ideal home would be out in the country with room to run and a home to protect. Because of his size, a home with small children is not recommended. Hi, My name is Ghost! I was rescued from a very high volume, overloaded shelter. I adore playing with other dogs! I am a very friendly fellow and I am learning commands. I am very treat motivated! I am very active and might be a little much for children - I might knock them over- but I do love to play! I am learning all about crate training and behaving in a home. I am a juvenile and I am at that perfect learning age. Training classes would be great for me! I need structure and reinforcement:) Come meet me one Saturday at the Clear Lake Petco!
