Jack has been hanging out in between my house and a neighbor's house for about a week or so. We posted pictures of him on our city's lost and found pets face book pages. One person reached out to me and said this was his dog but was not going to be keeping the dog. The FB profile was anonymous and I have not had any other communication with this person. Jack seems friendly, but is a little skiddish. I have been able to pet him a few times. He sniffs my dogs through the fence and does not show any signs of aggression, but we have not tried any further introductions. I did put him in my back yard with the intentions of holding onto him until a rescue could be found, but he quickly hopped the fence. He is a large breed dog, possibly a great pyranese mix or another type of livestock breed. Male, unneutered. His teeth are very clean indicating he's likely a younger dog. He is also under weight (I have been putting out food and water for him). He is free to a good home.

Piper is a very sweet 10-year-old girl looking for her forever home. ❤️ Unfortunately, our 1-year-old is highly allergic to her, so as difficult as this decision is, we’re looking for a loving family who can give Piper the home she deserves. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and great with kids. She’s potty trained, extremely smart, and loves spending time outdoors. She enjoys chewing on deer antlers and would happily spend her days exploring the yard and relaxing with her family. She generally does well with other dogs, although as she’s gotten older, she can be a little selective and may need some time to warm up. Piper is a loving, loyal companion who has so much love left to give and would be a wonderful addition to the right family.
