AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! Winston is an energetic, 5-6 year old Husky/ Great Pyrenees mix and he has some awesome double dew claws to prove it! Winston is ready to help you achieve your fitness goals! He is great on leash and is ready to accompany you around the neighborhood or for a hike through the forest. Winston is a devoted companion who doesn't always want to share is person. He has done best being separated from other dogs. Winston does have a history of living with cats but is looking for a home without kids as he can be possessive over space and items that he thinks are his. He is looking for a very structured home with an experienced owner. Winston is house trained, crate trained and knows some basic commands such as sit and shake. Winston's adoption fee has been WAIVED in hopes of helping him find a home for the holidays. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
Blizzard is a sweet girl who was born 11/26/23. Guessing on breeds, looks to be a pyr/ hound/ boxer mix best guess. She will likely be a medium / large sized dog and is the smallest in the group. She is currently between 15-20 lbs and growing. She is current on vaccinations, preventions, spayed and chipped. Due to breed characters a physically fenced yard is required. Blizzard is located in middle TN, but not to worry her transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. We are happy to set up a virtual meet and greet with any approved application. Please contact us for more information or an adoption application.

Great Pyrenees Cane Corso

Female, Young

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sadie is a well trained big girl with more heart than extra skin. She requires some brushing outside to keep the inside shedding to a minimum. She will tell you when she wants to play or be pet- which is often, so she would be better with a stay at home owner or other equal-size dog to play with. She’s great with kids and cats and other dogs. Some large, territorial dogs might need socialization with her first. She is healthy, vaccinated, spayed, loves the vet, and her preferred food is inexpensive.
