Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. John McClane is a 2 month old pyr-mix puppy who was born to lead, protect, and charm his way into your heart. He is the largest of the litter and still proudly holds that title, with a big fluffy build, a primarily cream coat, and a white blaze on his forehead. John is confident, playful, and social, with a friendly personality that shines around people, kids, and other dogs. He interacts beautifully with young children and does well with dogs of all sizes, including adult Great Pyrenees, a chihuahua, and a visiting miniature schnauzer. He loves wrestling with his littermates, playing tug and chase, and being right in the middle of the action. He is off to a fantastic start with puppy basics. John uses potty pads consistently, sleeps through the night, eats three meals a day, and settles quickly in his crate. He does well in the car and is already responding to his name. For a young puppy, he shows impressive awareness of his environment and a natural confidence in new situations. John has early instincts that suggest a livestock guardian type personality. This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 110 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides. Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat.
