Story
Millie is a very sweet Great Pyrenees who's looking for a forever home. She has only had limited experience being inside a house, so there are many things she's not yet accustomed to, but she's a very loving girl. She has been around alpacas, but she cannot be trusted around chickens, unfortunately. Millie is up to date on vaccinations, and has not been spayed, so that's a task that her new owner would be responsible for. If you'd like more information on Millie, please contact Laura at (360) 708-0083. Thanks for looking!

Story
3 year old sisters that have never been apart, overgrown loving lap dogs. Who love belly scratches, an orange piece now and then with a slight separation anxiety, they are kennel trained for when they could be home alone or at night when you don’t want to lose your spot in bed. They are big playful girls who need a big fenced yard to play and get some energy out. Watch out if you turn the hose or sprinkler on because before you know it the girls are soaked and sprinkler might not work as well. They’re both fixed, get along with other animals including chickens and kids they’re very protective of. They will try to get the vacuum if you use it around them and try to go after fireworks if they are around them when being set off.

Story
SHOMER is a gentle, sweet dog who enjoys walks and car rides to the doggy park, his favorite activities. His love for treats (and food in general) makes him very responsive and obedient, which makes bonding easier. He doesn't care for toys, but he has a couple he's fond of; he will not chew on shoes or furniture, and he enjoys playing ball, though he's still learning to catch and release. He was born on July 1st, 2023, and weighs 67 lbs. He was adopted from a farm outside town, where his mom, dad, and adorable siblings were also present. He is a guardian dog; when we had chickens, he was trained to watch for predators like coyotes and eagles. He doesn’t attack livestock. I hope Shomer can find a home with acreage where he can patrol freely. Living in an apartment isn't ideal for this breed, as they can get depressed. While Shomer handles work or school absences well, he needs regular playtime and physical activity.

Story
1 year old female Great Pyrenees up for adoption. She is about 70 lbs. she is not fixed. Vet will not fix her until her growth plates are fully grown at 2 years. She has not been in heat yet. She is fully house trained and a good dog. She is sweet and gentle and does not jump up on adults. She can sit, lay down, and has good recall for a whistle and the word cookie. She also knows “go to your bed” and will lay down on her bed. We have to rehome her because she is too much for us to handle right now. We have two toddlers and she tries to heard them and jumps on them and pushes them down and nips at them. This morning she really hurt my son so we have to draw the line. We have tried everything to train this out of her, but I think it is just her breed. She is a hearding dog and would be great on a farm. Please private message me if you are interested. I will include her collars, bed, toys, food, bowls, etc.

Story
Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Super affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. All of her siblings were adopted as puppies, its long been Sally's time to find her FOREVER home. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ If interested we would have you speak with her rescuer. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Any questions, please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com Best to include your phone number and good times to call too!
