This gorgeous 3-year-old, 60-pound girl is FULL of life and ready to play her way right into your heart! She’s bursting with energy, loves being outdoors in any weather, and her absolute favorite thing is chasing balls and toys. While her leash skills need a little work, she’d love to go with you on adventures. Want a good time and some exercise - she’s the perfect choice! Want to chill after a long day -yep she’ll love that too! Ada has been with us now for 53 days with NO interest..crazy I know! She’s spent her time waiting all in a foster home so you know she’d fit smoothly into your home and family. Great with kids too! If you’re looking for an energetic, fun-loving companion who will keep you moving by day and cuddle up with you by night, she’s the one!

- Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress - Shy pup who may need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home- Tends to be an introvert around other dogs, may take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro required) - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) - may prefer to be the only dog in their homeThis pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! I am GhostBuster and I have a neat, sad and then happy story to tell you... So hang on for the ride!! But realize my NEXT BEST CHAPTER can include you!! In the sweltering heat I was blessed enough to CHOOSE the Post Office to hang out in. I was there for months, and no one could get me...and they tried but they deliver MAIL, not SAVE DOGS for a living..:) The Post Master knew about a local rescue, and they tried to help me too...then I was hit by a car and injured... AND I found a girlfriend and she was my lucky break, literally. The Police Department was finally able to save us and away we went to the rescue! My sweet girlfriend, Avian, was adopted before me, but I believe this is MY TIME!! Here is what my rescue friends describe me.."GhostBuster is always happy to see you, his eyes shine, tail wags, and his energy boosts whenever he sees his favorite people! He has the subtle markings of a Rottweiler or a Doberman and the temperament of a lab. He had an injured hip when saved but he has had surgery and has had his heartworms treated. During all this time he has started to know what a kind hand is like, some love, and real food! Now he can learn what a real family is :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area )
