Story
**Meet Lenny – A Fun-Loving Boy with a Heart Full of Happiness** Lenny (racing name **Len Has Zen**) is a handsome black greyhound who will celebrate his **3rd birthday this August**. He enjoyed a successful racing career, but now he's ready to trade the track for a family that will love him for the wonderful companion he is. Young, athletic, and full of personality, Lenny loves life. Whether he's playing with his favorite toys, splashing in the water, or heading out for a walk, he's always ready to have a good time. Despite his playful energy, he walks beautifully on lead and is a pleasure to take out and about. During his assessment, Lenny settled quickly into a new environment. He happily explored the yard with a relaxed sniff around before simply standing with his people, soaking up attention and enjoying plenty of pats. He's a social, affectionate boy who genuinely loves interacting with people and being part of the action. Lenny would be happiest in a home with other greyhounds or larger dogs that can match his playful style. When introduced to small dogs, he was enthusiastic and a little too interested, so he'll need an experienced home willing to continue his training. With time, guidance, and the right match, he has the potential to live successfully with the right small dog. Lenny is a joyful, friendly greyhound with an infectious enthusiasm for life. If you're looking for a young companion who will keep you smiling, enjoy your adventures, and reward you with endless affection, Lenny is ready to make your home his forever home. Could Lenny be the fun-loving best friend you've been waiting for?

Story
Turbo is an active, outgoing Greyhound with a friendly and confident personality. He enjoys playtime and getting involved in what’s happening around him, but once he’s had his fun, he settles well and is quiet and easy to have around. He’s very people‑oriented and would suit a home with children aged 10 and over who can enjoy his playful side while giving him space when he’s resting. Turbo’s mix of energy, friendliness, and calm downtime makes him a great fit for families or individuals looking for a sociable but well‑mannered companion. (Gets along with large dogs and with work, small dog potential)

Story
"With his striking red fawn coat and gentle nature, Solly is the kind of greyhound who captures hearts wherever he goes. Born on 21 December 2020, this gorgeous boy has retired from racing and is ready to discover just how wonderful life as a cherished family pet can be. Solly is a relaxed and confident dog who takes new environments in his stride. He's naturally curious and enjoys exploring his surroundings before settling in, and when the mood strikes, he absolutely loves to let loose with a joyful burst of zoomies! Friendly, calm, and affectionate, Solly enjoys being close to his people and is happiest when he can simply share your company. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure, he'll be a loyal companion who loves spending time with his humans. Around other dogs, Solly has shown excellent manners. He displayed no signs of resource guarding during assessments and enjoys the company of larger dogs, especially fellow greyhounds. Because he's more comfortable with dogs his own size and has a typical greyhound interest in smaller animals, Solly is best suited to a home without small dogs or cats. Solly is enthusiastic on walks and can be strong on the lead, so he'll benefit from continued leash training. With consistency and positive guidance, he'll continue to improve and become an even more enjoyable walking companion. If you're looking for a loving, affectionate greyhound with a playful streak, Solly could be the perfect addition to your family. He's ready to trade the racetrack for a cosy bed, daily adventures, and a home filled with love."

Story
"Gypsy is a stunning white and blue greyhound who will be arriving in the United States just after celebrating her 3rd birthday (August 4, 2026). If you're looking for a beautiful companion with an easy-going personality and an adventurous spirit, Gypsy may be your perfect match. Gypsy is described as a friendly, calm, and affectionate girl who loves being with her people. Whether she's joining you for a leisurely walk, running across an open field, or spending the day at the beach, she's happiest sharing life's adventures with her family. One of Gypsy's greatest strengths is her wonderful temperament. During her assessment, she walked beautifully on leash and remained relaxed and confident throughout. She happily accepted treats, wasn't concerned when the assessor was nearby, and completely ignored an energetic little dog that was trying to get her attention. Nothing seemed to ruffle this sweet girl's feathers. Gypsy has already spent time living indoors and travels exceptionally well, making the transition into her forever home even easier. She's known for her lovely manners, easy-going nature, and friendly interactions with everyone she meets. She also enjoys the company of other dogs. Living alongside French Bulldogs has taught her excellent social skills, and she greeted both small and larger dogs with confidence, kindness, and impeccable manners. If you're searching for a greyhound who is athletic enough to join you on adventures yet calm enough to relax by your side at the end of the day, Gypsy checks every box. Her gentle personality, loving heart, and adaptable nature make her a wonderful candidate for families, couples, or individuals looking for an exceptional companion. Could Gypsy be the missing piece of your family? She can't wait to meet the people she'll call her own."

Story
"Honey may have started her journey on the racetrack as Bullen Road, but she quickly let everyone know that racing just wasn't her calling. Born on 4 August 2022, this beautiful blue brindle girl has a much brighter future ahead—as a cherished family companion. Small in stature but big on charm, Honey is a gentle, easy-going girl who takes life at her own pace. She enjoys the quieter side of kennel life, loves a trip to the beach, and is happiest when she can simply relax and soak up the world around her. Honey travels beautifully in the car and walks calmly on lead, making her an easy companion to take wherever life leads. She's affectionate without being demanding and genuinely enjoys spending time with people, happily leaning in for pats and attention whenever they're on offer. Honey has lovely manners around other dogs. During her assessments, she showed no signs of resource guarding, even when treats were given with another dog nearby. She's also had positive experiences living alongside French Bulldogs and got along wonderfully with Sid, the honorary small dog belonging to one of our team members. Her gentle nature and respectful attitude make her a delightful canine companion. Honey is ready to swap kennel life for a cosy bed, beach walks, and a family to call her own. She has all the qualities that make retired greyhounds such wonderful pets—calm, affectionate, easy to live with, and endlessly loving."

Story
Bear (racing name Kingsbrae Bear) is a handsome white and blue greyhound who will celebrate his 6th birthday on November 10. With his calm nature, easygoing personality, and gentle spirit, Bear is more interested in enjoying life than racing through it. Wherever Bear goes, he settles in quickly. During his assessment, he adapted easily to a new environment, remained relaxed, and happily took everything in stride. He's the kind of dog who makes himself at home in no time. Bear is a pleasure to walk. He has lovely leash manners, walks calmly by your side, and enjoys exploring without pulling. His laid-back personality makes him an ideal companion for leisurely strolls and relaxed days at home. This sweet boy also has wonderful manners. He showed no signs of resource guarding, even when toys were involved, and demonstrated the calm, trustworthy temperament that makes retired greyhounds such wonderful companions. Bear also met small dogs during his assessment. He was calm and appropriate around them, happily sharing the yard and even chasing a ball alongside a small dog. The only time he became excited was when several small dogs and puppies began splashing and playing in a pool. The sudden movement and excitement briefly caught his attention, but once the activity settled, Bear relaxed right along with it and returned to his easygoing self. Bear is a lovely boy with a kind heart, a relaxed personality, and just enough playful spirit to keep life fun. He's ready to leave his racing days behind and become someone's loyal best friend. If you're looking for a gentle companion who enjoys walks, playtime, and quiet evenings at home, Bear may be the perfect addition to your family."
