Story
Doc is a confident, independent boy who enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace. He is approachable, calm, and easy to lead, showing comfort and confidence in new environments. During assessments, Doc was observed happily curled up on a bed on his own, content to take time and explore without stress. While he is friendly and approachable, Doc tends to focus more on his environment than on constant human attention. Handling is simple, and he shows no signs of resource guarding. Physically, Doc is in great condition with no concerns noted. Doc has not yet been tested with small dogs, cats, or larger dogs, so slow introductions and further socialization are recommended to determine compatibility. Doc would thrive in a home that appreciates a calm, confident, and independent companion, someone who can give him space to explore and settle while offering affection and guidance when he seeks it.

"Bugs is a handsome black greyhound with a bright, social personality. He greeted everyone politely during his assessment and even sniffed little Cc the Iggy—he’s definitely small-dog workable and will only improve with more positive interactions. This sweet boy loves people just as much as they’ll love him. He went straight up to his handler for pats and play, happily soaking up all the attention. Treats? Absolutely—Bugs takes them with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. Friendly, curious, and eager to connect, Bugs is ready to bring joy, playfulness, and plenty of affection to his forever home."

Story
Meet Lugnut! This tiny but mighty pup has gone through a lot but remains resilient as can be! Lugnut found himself on the E-List after a heart murmur was detected going into his neuter surgery. Thankfully, a committed and willing foster stepped up and we were able to save Lugnut. Lugnut's foster says this little guy couldn't be more perfect! He is potty and crate trained and non-destructive in the home. He sleeps through the night in his kennel but definitely loves to cuddle with you in bed or on the couch -- when invited of course. Due to his heart murmur he gets limited activity, but this guy LOVES the outdoors. He enjoys his walks and has quite the green thumb, helping his foster water the garden and getting his own sips from the house. Lugnut can take a little time to warm up but is as sweet as can be once he gets to know you. Lugnut is a little shadow loving to be wherever you are. He spends his days with his foster at work and enjoys the daily commute. Lugnut is a happy go-lucky guy that loves to hop and jump around guaranteeing to always put a smile on your face. He has done well with older children that understand boundaries. If you're looking for a lot of love in a small package, apply to meet Lugnut!
