I’ve had sophie since she’s been 7 months. She’s a very loving and affectionate dog. She loves exploring and trying new things. She’s very intelligent as well. She’s going to be 9 years this year. She used to have a lot of energy but i would say she’s calmed down a bit. Her flaws are that from time to time she does escape, but i would say that’s my fault for not taking her out on her walks or travels as much. She also does get to your food if you leave it around her. Other than that, she’s great. She is from the shelter so i don’t know her exact breed. Always assumed greyhound mix, she carries a lot of those traits. She does also have an eye condition so healthy food is needed, nothing fatty or unhealthy. Sadly, i’m having to move and can’t bring her with me.

Story
We acquired Cassie about 9 years ago when she was a puppy, and she's been an amazing companion. She spent the last 9 years living with an Australian Shepperd, and they got along great. We found a home for him, and are now looking for a home for Cassie. Her routine has been a walk twice a day, after she eats her meals, and about 15 minutes of playtime (watch video). She only chews on her toys, and has never gone to the bathroom inside, and has always had free roam of the house during the day. She is used to sleeping in a human bed on most nights, however, sometimes for whatever reason, she'll choose to sleep in her kennel bed. The only medicine she takes regularly is Trifexis (for ticks, heartworm, flee prevention), taken monthly. She doesn't have any health issues. Her one behavioral issue is anxiety, especially if a stranger suddenly comes into the house, she will bark at them, but never bites. She's a lapdog, loves to snuggle, sunbathe, squeaky toys, and is smart as a whip.
