Meet Lily! She was surrendered after her owner passed away. She is a retired race dog! In her prime, she raced and won A LOT up until she was 4-6 years old before her owner rescued her. She doesn't run much anymore, but still gets little bursts of energy for zoomies (but those don't last long). Lily has special needs: She is on a special diet of kidney care food and takes medicine to help her feel more comfortable. We are looking for an end of life adoption where she can spend whatever time she has left being pampered and LOVED. Experienced adopter needed.

I enjoy spending time with people, exploring the world around me, and would love nothing more than to become part of a family of my own. I've been assessed as workable with small dogs and have shown that I'm able to settle nicely around them. I appreciate calm, thoughtful introductions and am happy to continue on my way once I've had a chance to say hello. I'm also cat workable. During my assessment, I showed very little interest in the cats and was content to observe them from a distance. With proper introductions and a thoughtful transition, I have the potential to do well in a home with feline friends. My gentle nature makes me easy to handle, and I enjoy being with people. Whether we're relaxing at home or heading out for a walk, I'm happy just being by your side. I have a low prey drive and enjoy taking life at a relaxed pace, making me a wonderful companion for families or individuals looking for a calm and loving greyhound. COLE NEEDED A HAND — SO WE GAVE HIM OURS Black is a challenging color in rescue. There is something about a black dog or a black cat—you either notice them and fall in love, or sadly, you sometimes look right past them. For Cole, last week could have been the end of the road. He was adopted a couple of years ago, later returned to a rescue, adopted again, then somehow lost. Once again, Cole found himself alone—this time in a county shelter and on the euthanasia list. We couldn't let his story end there. Cole is a terrific dog with a beautiful soul. He is 3 years old, 62LBS., handsome, social, great with other dogs, and even okay with cats. Most of all, Cole simply wants to be with his people and exercise and play. After everything he has been through, he still trusts, still loves, and still wants to belong. Cole is safe now and staying with our trainer, but what he really needs is a foster or forever home. Sometimes a dog just needs someone to reach out a hand. Sky is a beautiful 2–3-year-old girl who came to us as a stray, and we’re pretty sure this fun-loving gal has some Greyhound and Great Dane in her family tree! She’s a big girl with an even bigger heart who absolutely adores people and happily gives kisses to everyone she meets. 💋 Sky is settling beautifully into the “Good Life” in her foster home, where she enjoys the company of small dogs and a cat. She’s a playful, energetic girl who would love canine companions she can romp and play with. She also loves being with her people and would be thrilled to have a “job” to keep her busy—she’s very food motivated, eager to please, and ready to learn! She walks nicely on leash and is looking for a family who wants a loyal, fun-loving best friend to share life’s adventures. Because Sky is a big girl who knows how to jump, she’ll need a minimum 6-foot fenced yard. Sky is currently being treated for heartworm disease and is already halfway through her treatment.
