🐾 Meet Ginger Snap 🐾 Ginger Snap, born 1/30/25, is a sweet young girl with all the charm (and curiosity!) of a typical puppy. She’s a “good girl” through and through—learning about the world with her happy, inquisitive puppy brain and taking everything in stride. She has a healthy appetite and is eating well, and she’s already doing a wonderful job settling down and sleeping peacefully. Ginger Snap enjoys playtime and likes her toys, though she’s not overly attached—she’s just as happy exploring her surroundings or spending time with her people. She gets along nicely with the other dogs and enjoys their company, making her a great addition to a multi-dog home. In her foster home, she’s been trustworthy with her freedom and hasn’t gotten into anything she shouldn’t—an impressive trait for such a young pup! She hasn’t been crated, as she’s been doing well without it. Like any young greyhound, Ginger Snap will benefit from continued guidance with leash walking as she learns the ropes. With patience and consistency, she’ll continue to blossom into a confident and well-mannered companion. Meet Tippy, a lovely Australian boy, born November 12, 2023. Tippy is a fun-loving, confident young boy with a friendly personality and a playful spark. With his affectionate nature and happy outlook, he’s ready to bring energy and companionship into his forever home. He greets people with enthusiasm and is quick to engage—coming when called, enjoying pats, and showing relaxed, friendly body language with a soft wagging tail. Tippy is very people-oriented and thrives on interaction. On lead, Tippy can be a little excitable at first and may pull due to his strength, but he settles nicely after a few minutes and walks calmly by your side. With consistency and routine, he will continue to improve and make a great walking companion. In new environments, Tippy shows confidence and curiosity. He enjoys having a run to burn off energy, loves exploring, and has a playful side—especially when it comes to squeaky toys. After some activity, he’s happy to relax and lie down, showing a good ability to switch off. Tippy travels well, settling calmly in both the car and trailer. He has shown no signs of resource guarding and is relaxed around food and people. With other dogs, Tippy is generally social and has been comfortable around other greyhounds as well as breeds like Schnauzers and Golden Retrievers. He appears to prefer female dogs and would likely do best with a compatible, calm companion if livingwith another dog. Tippy has been assessed around small dogs and showed no reaction when passing by, indicating promising manners in these situations. Tippy would thrive in a home that can provide a balance of activity, structure, and affection. With a bit of guidance early on, he will develop into a loyal, loving companion who brings both fun and companionship to everyday life. Meet Scout, a lovely Australian born May 9, 2022. Scout is a gentle, kind-hearted girl who blossoms with a little time and reassurance. With her calm nature and affectionate personality, she’s the type of companion who will form a strong, quiet bond with her people. She may be slightly hesitant at first in new situations, but Scout quickly gains confidence and settles in well. On lead, she has shown great improvement—walking nicely and enjoying her outings without reacting to passing people or dogs. She’s also comfortable being handled and guided, even away from familiar surroundings. In new environments, Scout shows a thoughtful and observant nature. She isn’t fazed by unfamiliar objects and becomes more relaxed as she settles, her body language softening as she grows comfortable. Scout is very affectionate once she feels at ease, happily approaching for attention and leaning in for gentle pats. She responds beautifully to calm handling and enjoys quiet moments of connection. With other larger dogs, Scout is social and well-mannered. She gets along well with both male and female greyhounds, as well as other breeds, showing calm and friendly interactions. Scout has been assessed with small dogs and showed appropriate curiosity, politely sniffing and then disengaging when redirected. She has demonstrated good responsiveness to handling in these situations. When it comes to cats, Scout has shown mixed responses. While she ignored one cat during assessment, she displayed interest and a desire to chase when another cat ran. Because of this, Scout would be best suited to a home without cats. Scout travels well, settling calmly and lying down during transport. She would do best in a home that can give her a little time to adjust and build confidence. In return, Scout will offer gentle affection, loyalty, and a calm, steady presence, making her a wonderful companion for the right home. Meet Run Loki, affectionately known as Loki, born November 3, 2022. Loki is a fun and engaging boy with a friendly nature. He enjoys interaction andwould suit a home that can continue to guide him as he builds on his manners. Loki has been exposed to small dogs, including French Bulldogs, and has shown generally positive interactions. At times he can be a little pushy and rough, so he would benefit from continued training and guidance to develop calm, polite behaviour. He is currently undergoing training and exposure with cats, so any introductions would need to be gradual and supported. Loki would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 years and over. With a low to moderate prey drive and ability to redirect, Loki has a great foundation and will thrive in a home committed to his ongoing development.
