Tucker is a handsome 5 year old Greyhound mix with a big heart and even bigger energy! This playful boy lives for running and romping around outside it is his absolute favorite thing to do! Tucker can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he is all tail wags and kisses. He is done great with kids of all ages and enjoys being part of the action. He gets along well with other dogs, but cats are not his cup of tea. He sleeps in his crate at night like a champ and is fully potty trained. Super smart and eager to please, Tucker learns quickly and is always up for a fun challenge. Just a heads up food with red dye does not sit well with his tummy, so he does best on a simple diet. Tucker can be protective when strangers visit the home, but with proper introductions, he settles in. He is an energetic, outgoing guy who would thrive with an active family and a yard to zoom around in. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion with a zest for life, Tucker might just be your perfect match! For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday, Saturday from 10:30 to 4 closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.

Dakota is a sweet, loving 9-year-old dog looking for a calm, stable home where she can enjoy her senior years as the center of attention. She is in good overall health, fully up to date on vaccinations, and recently had her teeth professionally cleaned by her veterinarian. As she’s gotten older, Dakota has developed age-related urinary incontinence, a common and manageable condition in senior dogs. She is currently on medication and has shown improvement. Busy or high-stress environments—especially with other pets or young children—can exacerbate her symptoms, which is why she would thrive in a quieter home. Dakota has only ever lived with two families and has always been deeply loved. She would do best as the only dog in a peaceful household with adults or older children who can offer consistent companionship. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to her person.
