AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION---Salah is a sweet boy who is definitely laid back and easy going. If you are looking for a quiet and sweet dog, you would love him.. We believe he would do best in a home as an only dog, preferably with an experienced adopter.. He recently graduated from the prison training program at Central Florida Reception Center, so he knows all of his basic commands. Salah was chosen as Top Dog in his training class! His racing name was Athlacca Salah. He raced in Ireland in 24 races, winning 6 times, so he was a successful racer. We have found that Salah has some sleep aggression issues, so that is why we are looking for a home for him as an only dog. He gets along with small dogs as well as larger dogs when he meets them out walking. Salah walks beautifully on a leash. You just need to be careful when petting him to call him to you so you make sure he is awake. He is in beautiful condition and has a shiny black coat. Lammie (racing name: Lammterra), has a sweet and friendly temperament. and loves his humans. He is an affectionate greyhound (constantly wagging his tail) who should make a wonderful companion for his people and will be a superior house pet. although he is great wit other greyhounds, he is not good with cats or small dogs, so needs to go to a home with a fenced yard and no other pets except other greyhounds or similar sized dogs. Lammie had no reported injuries while racing in Ireland, and is an average size for a male greyhound at 75 lbs. His registered name is in honor of the race horse, Lammtara, who won the Epson Derby. Lammie went to our prison training program, so he knows all of his basic commands (sit, lie down, stay, wait, come, etc.). Lammie will come to you with his bed, a high feeder, treats, and toys. He will be a great addition to the right home. Kiera came to us from Ireland and is a beautiful, bright, lady with a heart of gold! She craves affection and likes to take in everything going on around her. She gets along great with medium or large dogs, and especially other greyhounds, but is not small dog friendly. She is still quite young, and will need to be in a home with a fenced yard. Kiera loves meeting children, is a good eater, travels well in the car, and loves her people. Kiera would do well in an adults only home or with a family with older children.. Kiera did not race in Ireland. She also has been to our prison training program. Story
Jordy was adopted as a puppy. He was found with his brothers and sisters in a truckstop parking lot with no Mama. He is great with children, dogs, and cats. He loves to run outside and will need a large fenced in yard. Jordy is eight years old, but is very healthy and vibrant. He takes a lot of naps during the day but still gets the zoomies and chases his tail on command. He loves to take walks and is great on a leash.Unfortunately, my son is allergic and suffers daily with severe allergy attacks. He is a very loved part of our family and we are broken hearted that we can no longer keep him.
