Story
Corvo is a very sweet and chill boy who loves humans and being around his person. He is a 5 year old Lab mix (not sure the other breed but I guessed possible Greyhound), very patient and calm, but also generally pretty active as he loves to run, play fetch and loves his walks, but he's also just fine lazing around too. He is house trained, crate trained, potty trained. He does very well when training and is treat motivated. He also knows a few commands like 'sit', 'chill' (laying down) and 'bed' (his bed). He is good with dogs and cats but he must have a slow introduction to them first. With dogs he'll be very wary and defensive at first, but after a while he'll accept them. Cats he may try to chase so slow introduction is definitely recommended. I'm wanting to rehome because of financial reasons, but I also feel he's not thriving in his living situation and I want him to live somewhere that he can. I feel someone who lives alone and possibly has a backyard would be perfect for him.

Story
Cali is a sweet, silly, quirky girl who’s looking for a loving home where she can truly thrive. She’s leash trained and knows all the basic commands. At her happiest, Cali is sprinting after a tennis ball and exploring the woods on an off-leash hike. Cali is friendly with familiar dogs but a bit fear-reactive on leash. However, once she knows who the pup is, she loves to play! Cali would do best in a home without cats or small children.

Story
A SWEET SENIOR COMPANION:  Approx. 11 years old / Approx. 33 lbs.  Hi, my name is Meeko!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and have been soaking up the love from the dedicated volunteers and in my foster home ever since!  I can’t remember how I ended up at animal control, but I’m thrilled to get a new chance to find a loving home and family – hopefully soon!  I’m currently in a foster home while I wait for my furever family to come for me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like them, so I want to be your only dog.  I don’t react to other dogs that I see on my walks, nor am I bothered by the two big dogs that live upstairs in my foster home, whom I live separately from but see frequently from afar in the yard.  / Cats unknown, however, I have shown a bit of prey drive with other small animals. / I met a nice boy and a girl around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and was nervous around them, so kids 15+ may be a good match for me.  Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a small guy with a big, loveable personality!  I’m described as a sweet, gentle, fun-natured and playful, spunky guy.  That’s right, I still have a spring in my step at 11 years old!  I enjoy cuddling/snuggling with my people and will climb right into your lap if you let me!  I’m not shy and can be vocal when I want your attention, so condo or apartment living would likely not be a good fit for me.  I was also not shy about showing my elation, with grateful sighs of appreciation during my shelter bath.  I am a smart, well-mannered, and friendly guy who is sure to bring joy to my new home! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I have already shown that I know several commands: ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘come’.  I also walk nicely on a leash, utilize proper door etiquette, and accept friendly strangers without jumping.  I like to go on walks with my favorite stuffy toy in my mouth – so cute!  I am treat-motivated and love to please, so I bet you can teach me even more – including taking advantage of the free training classes that Mostly Mutts offers to all their adoptive pups – who says an old dog can’t learn new tricks?! / My crate manners are good in my foster home, I quite like it in there actually, it’s like my ‘safe’ place!  / My potty habits were good on the shelter schedule and are good in my foster home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to spend time with my foster and go for my daily walks and occasional car rides.  I love people and greet them politely and always with an energetic tail wag.  Playing fetch, chew toys, and tennis balls are my favorite things.  You are not likely to find a bigger treat fan than me, either.  Another thing I enjoy is peanut butter filled Kongs and I enjoy going for walks and surveying my world.  In my foster home, I love to crawl into my bed and cover myself with a cozy blanket – my foster mom jokes that when I peek out of the blanket, I look like ET! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I came in with some broken teeth and needed a good dental cleaning when I arrived and thankfully MM has done that for me.  I’ve got a skin tag on my back leg, but it doesn’t bother me, and I hope you won’t mind it either.  I am taking an affordable over-the-counter joint supplement, which is good for all older doggies. I am looking for a wonderful furever home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  September 19, 2026, 7:50 am

Story
Hudson is a sweet 6-month-old Italian Greyhound puppy. (DOB: 3/7/2026) He currently weighs just under 12 pounds. Hudson was surrendered to us by his previous family when they realized they were unable to provide him with the attention and care he needed. He is looking for a special forever family ready to help him grow into his most confident self! Hudson is a bit shy when meeting new people but once he gets to know you, his personality really shines! He is very affectionate, friendly, and loves being with his people. He also enjoys other friendly small dogs and would thrive living with a confident canine companion who can help show him the ropes. We think he would quickly bond with another friendly, confident dog and benefit from having a buddy by his side. Hudson tends to look to his person for reassurance, regularly “checking in” and making eye contact on walks, which makes us think he will be very responsive to training once he feels comfortable. He previously lived in an apartment without regular walks, so the sights and sounds of the outside world can still feel like a lot for him. His forever family will need to give him time, patience, and plenty of positive experiences as he learns to navigate the world with confidence. While Hudson may always have a slightly nervous side, we believe his confidence will continue to blossom as he gains positive experiences and learns that the world isn’t so scary. Hudson has worked hard on his potty training and has made great strides! He was previously pee-pad trained and has now learned that outside is the place to go. Hudson isn’t looking for just any home, he’s looking for his person. Someone patient enough to let him come out of his shell, experienced enough to understand an Italian Greyhound’s sensitive nature, and willing to celebrate every little bit of progress along the way. In return, Hudson will give you a whole lot of love. **The collar shown in these photos was for flight-risk safety management only while acclimating to outdoor exposure, due to limited exposure to being outdoors before coming to Tiny Paws. It was used as a backup without any pressure being put on the trachea, just in case something failed with the harness and first leash.** ********** Italian Greyhound experience highly preferred. Hudson’s adoption fee is $1000. He will come to you already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Please read this bio in its entirety and then fill out our application by clicking the Apply Online button then Skip to bypass the Adopt-a-Pet form and go straight to the Tiny Paws adoption application. It may also be found by clicking on the link to our website. Preference is given to applicants located within the metro Atlanta area. Applications from outside this area may be considered under certain circumstances. Please note that non-local applications will be reviewed only after all local applications have been thoroughly evaluated.

Story
Chippy is a 7-month-old Afghan Hound puppy who weighed 40 pounds last time he was weighed and is still growing! He is expected to reach 50–60 pounds when fully grown. This goofy, fun-loving boy is sure to keep you smiling with his silly puppy antics. Chippy loves playing with toys, romping around with other dogs, and is always ready for his next adventure. Like any young puppy, Chippy is still working on his house training and crate training. He's highly food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and should make training a rewarding experience. Chippy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though he doesn't always realize just how big he is! Because he is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, Chippy REQUIRES a securely fenced yard where he can safely exercise and explore. Sighthound experience preferred. To adopt this handsome boy, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $650, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and deworming.

Story
Sylvie is a gorgeous 2-year-old, 50 lb Afghan Hound who has been officially declared “a certified good girl” by our vet, and who are we to argue? Unlike some Afghans who prefer to admire their people from afar, Sylvie loves attention and will happily come over to request some affection. She enjoys a good sprint around the yard, then comes right back to check in with her favorite person. Walks, toys, playtime, and simply hanging out together are all high on her list of favorite activities. True to her Afghan nature, Sylvie is smart, curious, and always looking for fun. She can be a little mischievous in her quest for a good time, but her playful personality is sure to keep you laughing. She learns quickly, though, like any independent thinker, she may occasionally decide she has a better idea than the one you had! Sylvie is crate trained, doing well with house training, and walks nicely on leash. She has lived with other dogs, but would be happiest as an only dog or in a home with only large male dogs. No cats. If you're looking for a beautiful, clever, affectionate companion with a playful streak and plenty of personality, Sylvie may be your perfect match. Sighthound experience preferred. Please make sure you've researched this breed. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $600, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.
