Story
Lola is a stunning 3-year-old black greyhound with a glossy coat and a heart of gold. She only has one eye, but it has no impact on her. In fact, her one eye doesn’t miss a thing, especially squirrels, bunnies on walks, or whatever you’re doing in the kitchen. She is extremely lovable, affectionate, and full of snuggles. If you’ve ever wanted a greyhound-shaped body pillow, she’s your girl. Lola loves people of all ages, including little kids, and greets everyone like they’re long-lost friends. She doesn’t bark at visitors, just happily welcomes them in. Lola is great with other dogs and currently lives with two non-greyhounds. She does well with dogs of all breeds, but her curiosity can sometimes come across as a little intense at first. She likes to go right up and inspect other dogs up close and personal, which can occasionally intimidate more timid pups. That said, it’s not dominant behavior at all, she’s simply curious and genuinely interested in making new friends. She’s perfectly potty trained with no accidents since she's been in foster and is well behaved when left home alone. That said, the most important thing in her life is being around you. She’ll follow you from room to room and immediately lay down to stay out of the way, just wanting to be near you. With her jet black coat, she makes the perfect shadow. She enjoys looking out the window and observing the world, gets her zoomies out outside, and is happiest curled up on a soft dog bed wherever you are. Lola is learning to walk on a leash and needs a bit more work, especially remembering that not every squirrel or bunny needs to be chased. She is a very happy girl with a sweet personality who can get along with anyone. Truly a “plug-and-play” greyhound, she will quickly bond with you, and seamlessly become your constant, loving companion.
