Story
We adopted Niall from our city animal shelter. While most other dogs in the kennel were loudly barking, he was standing silently, wagging his tail. We have had him for about three months. We call him Neely. Neely is perfectly house-trained, kind, gentle and lovable. He loves his ball and toys. He quietly sleeps indoors through the night. He’s never acted threatening to anyone or any other animals. Added bonus is that he has no odor. Niall does bark when outdoors. Why we want to rehome: We are both in our 70s and have realized since we adopted Niall that he needs more exercise than we can give him. Ideally he would be happier in a very large, well-fenced yard or field. Children to play with, bones to choose and balls to chase would be great. We love this dog but we can’t manage to let him outdoors enough. We hate to give him up but it’s necessary.

Story
Double Your Fun, Double Your Love! This happy-go-lucky, large hound-looking girl is looking for an active partner to share in life’s grand adventures! True to her name, she brings twice the joy wherever she goes. She is a striking beauty with a high-contrast white coat accented by rich, tiger-striped brindle patches across her back and face. Her face is a masterpiece of dark charcoal and warm caramel tones, complete with an adorable dusting of freckles trailing up her muzzle and a mega-watt, pearly-white smile that perfectly matches her sunny outlook on life. Energy, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to learn are this spayed girl's superpowers! She is a vibrant, playful soul who literally looks like she is flying when she gets into a good run. She approaches the world with absolute curiosity, loving nothing more than a good sniffing safari on her walks followed by a fun play session. Because she is super excited about life and highly motivated, she is incredibly eager to learn and would thrive with someone who enjoys positive reinforcement training to help channel her bright mind. In return for bringing this joyful spirit into your life, you will get an absolute masterclass in pure, unadulterated happiness. Doublemint will be your ultimate cheerleader, greeting you with flying floppy ears and full-body wiggles every single day. She balances her athletic, goofy antics with a deeply affectionate side; she loves to tilt her head, look at you with warm brown eyes, and lean in close for some well-deserved scratches. By welcoming her home, you gain a loyal, active companion who will turn every ordinary day into an exciting adventure.

Story
Banana Cream is a gentle, easygoing sweetheart with impeccable house manners and a heart as soft as his favorite stuffed toy. He’s the kind of dog who settles seamlessly into a home—calm, affectionate, and wonderfully well behaved. This handsome guy is fully potty trained, non-destructive, and can comfortably be left home alone all day. Most of the time, he’s perfectly content snoozing, lounging in the backyard, or quietly relaxing around the house. Banana Cream absolutely loves people. Whether it’s friends stopping by, dinner guests, or an entire book club gathering, he greets everyone with happy excitement and a toy proudly carried in his mouth. Despite his enthusiasm, he’s incredibly polite and never jumps on people. After saying hello, he’s happy to settle back down nearby and soak up the company. He also enjoys the companionship of other respectful dogs and currently lives happily with two canine friends, often cuddling up and sharing beds with them. He would do best with calm, friendly dogs who respect his space. Banana Cream is also an excellent car companion. He happily hops in, curls up after a few minutes, and calmly rides along—even with another dog in the backseat. Whether he’s lounging in a sunny spot, flopping dramatically on the couch mid-nap, or proudly delivering his favorite stuffie to visitors, Banana Cream brings a peaceful, lovable presence wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion with a goofy side and lots of love to give, Banana Cream may just be your perfect match.
