Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you’re looking for the sweetest companion you could imagine, Ulysses is your guy! This gorgeous hound was born to love and to be loved, and he takes his purpose seriously. He wants nothing more than to cuddle (preferably next to you on the couch, as much as possible), and is a perfect gentleman.  He doesn’t bark, doesn’t drool, doesn’t jump on people, and doesn’t beg; he enjoys going on walks (just not too far, please), and is great on a leash, never pulling. He loves everyone he meets, has been great with children we’ve seen him with, and gets along well with other dogs (we’ve been told he’s also good with cats too).  He’s in great health, though his back can be a little stiff, particularly when he first wakes up; a house with no stairs would be best for him. Ulysses is completely house trained and enjoys sleeping on his own dog bed nearby “his people” at night.  It’s believed that he’s between 6-7 years old.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 1:54 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Six-year-old Mosho is a friendly, happy boy.  He arrived with his pal, Cleo, but they can be adopted separately. They came from a home with children. Because Mosho tends to jump on people, which could frighten, or knock over a very young child, Mosho is recommended for older children, or adults. Mosho is an adept and determined counter-surfer, which his foster home is working on!  Mosho gets along well with other dogs of his size, or larger. He does not seem to like small dogs. Mosho is potty-trained and is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. He has a dental appointment in early April.  Mosho would be great with older kids or an older couple.  He would be fine in a home with a doggie playmate of his size, or larger, or as an only dog. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 11, 2026, 1:17 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Luna is a 4 year old, red and white, female basset who weighs 41 lbs. She is super cute! She loves all humans and wants nothing more than to curl up and cuddle with her people. She is usually very calm, mellow, and gentle although her barking can come out at times. She walks well on a leash (although does like to follow her nose- like all bassets) and she does well in the car, both in a crate and out. Her foster mom has had her in a large pen at home at times and she has done well with that too. She is usually very agreeable and listens well. She has no health issues, is housetrained, and knows how to use a dog door. Luna can be a little nervous when first meeting new dogs. She may growl a little and keep more to herself at first but she just needs a little time to trust that she is safe. She has been fostered in a dogsitting home and she has proven that, given a little time, she can actually be very comfortable with all manner of dogs. And she has learned socialization very well over the last few months. She has proven to be very adaptable. If you give her a little patience she will fall head over heels in love with you and be your best friend.Luna would be a wonderful companion dog for someone who has no other dogs but she can also do well in a home with a dog sibling.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 8, 2026, 6:26 pm
