Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌟🐾 Meet Gypsy — Short Legs, Big Heart, Still Waiting 💛🐾 Gypsy has been waiting… and waiting… and waiting. And honestly? She’s waited far too long for a girl this special. At 2 years old and 28 pounds, Gypsy is a delightful blend of Cattle Dog smarts and Basset Hound charm — think low-rider body, big-dog energy, and a personality that could light up a room. She’s basically the off-road model of a best friend: compact, sturdy, and always ready for an adventure. Gypsy LOVES her walks and is getting better and better on leash every day. She’s happiest when she’s outside, exploring the yard, supervising chores, or keeping an eye out for squirrels (her self-appointed job, and she takes it very seriously). When playtime winds down, she’s just as content following her favorite human around like a loyal little shadow. She’s playful, affectionate, and full of goofy charm. Toys are fun. Shoelaces are very intriguing. And her signature low-rider zoomies? Absolutely legendary. 🐾 Gypsy’s Highlights: ✅ 2 years old, 28 lbs ✅ Dog-friendly ✅ House & crate trained ✅ Loves walks and outdoor time ✅ Sweet, silly, and full of personality ✅ Equal parts sass, snuggles, and sunshine While Gypsy does great with other dogs, cats are an unknown — mostly because Gypsy believes squirrels are public enemy #1 — so she may prefer a home without feline roommates. What Gypsy really wants, though, isn’t much. She wants a family who will love her quirks, laugh at her goofy legs, and finally give her the forever home she’s been patiently waiting for. She’s ready to be someone’s hiking buddy, couch companion, and daily dose of happiness. 💛 Gypsy has so much love to give — she just needs someone to give her a chance. Short legs. Big heart. Endless loyalty. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Gypsy finally stop waiting and start living the life she deserves. 🐾💛

Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet Roxie! Roxie is a 6 year old, 52-lb, Beagle-mix who loves nothing more than to chill by her people. That's not entirely true; she may love food more than that. This highly food motivated girl would prefer to snuggle on your lap to big, extravagant adventures. Roxie gets along with other dogs but would prefer if they were also pretty low-key, or at least respectful of her space. She's fine with the cats, often watching them curiously but from a safe distance. She would gladly accept the role of "child's best friend" as she loves kids and loves hanging out with them. Occasionally, Roxie will get a playful streak in her and want you to play tug of war with her and a toy. Or in the very least, she wants you to acknowledge that she is, in fact, a pretty girl with a toy. One of Roxie's favorite past times is giving judgmental looks to everyone. Need some extra motivation to stick to your New Year's resolutions? Perfect, Roxie has the face for that! She will bestow a perfectly primed judgmental look to throw at you for all your life's decisions. "We listen but we don't judge?" Not here! Roxie will absolutely judge you but she'll look cute doing it. If you're looking for a low-key companion to snuggle with and share your deepest secrets with (at least she can't spill them, right??) Roxie is the dog for you! Roxie is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $250.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
OLLIE is a happy-go-lucky beagle boy looking for a home. He loves loves loves people. He likes zoomies and treats as well but he loves to be with people. He's a handsome 2-3 year old guy with beautiful markings. Ollie is a bit on the chunky side, he should be 28-30 pounds. Ollie is dog friendly and needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Ollie please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Ollie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 18, 2026, 10:31 pm
