Story
Lilly, a 2.5-month-old, female, cream colored Beagle mix, weighing in at about 4.5 pounds. This beautiful little girl is as sweet as she is adorable. Her soft cream-colored coat is accented with darker shading on her ears, giving her an irresistible puppy look that's sure to make everyone smile. Lilly is everything you could hope for in a young puppy. She loves playing with her littermates, exploring her surroundings, and carrying around her favorite stuffed toys. After a fun-filled play session, she's more than happy to snuggle up for one of her signature puppy naps. When she's spending one-on-one time with her people, Lilly's gentle, loving nature shines through. Like all puppies her age, Lilly is ready to learn. Her future family will get to enjoy teaching her crate training, potty training, leash walking, and all the other milestones that come with raising a happy, confident puppy. Watching her grow will be one of life's greatest rewards. If you're looking for a lovable little companion who will fill your days with puppy kisses, laughter, and cuddles, Lilly is waiting to become your newest family member. Lilly is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Meet Charles (aka Charlie), a 2.5-month-old, male tri-colored Beagle mix weighing in at around 4.5 pounds. This adorable little beagle mix is the perfect combination of sweet, snuggly, and playful. Charlie is doing his best at soaking up everything the world has to offer and is ready to find a family to share all of life's adventures with. Charlie is your typical happy puppy! When he's with his littermates, you'll find him bouncing around, wrestling, and playing until everyone is ready for a well-earned nap. Once playtime is over, Charlie is all about cuddling up with his favorite stuffed toy and catching some puppy dreams. He's happiest following the classic puppy schedule--about 30 minutes of fun followed by a 90-minute snooze! Like any young puppy, Charlie is looking for a family excited to teach him all the important puppy skills. Crate training, potty training, and leash training are all part of the adventure, and with patience, consistency, and lots of treats, he'll grow into an amazing companion. If you're looking for a sweet little best friend who will fill your home with puppy kisses, laughter, and endless cuddles, Charlie can't wait to meet you! Charles is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
Between July 5th and July 26th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $70! Danica is an 8-year-old, 30 lb beagle mix with big brown eyes who just loves kisses, scratches and cuddles and being close to her people. Her superpowers include being a fast and eager learner, loving all people everywhere, and getting along great with other dogs and her cat sister. She loves to just explore the outdoors and sniff around still. She’s good on a leash. In terms of house training, she’s does well during the day but sometimes can’t make it through the night. With more regularly scheduled potty breaks, we think this can be fixed! She loves to love on you and her people and to be rewarded for a good job! Some of her favorite things are her Kongs (stuffed with peanut butter, of course). If you're looking for a loving companion who will greet you and other of your four legged companions with full body kisses every time you walk in the door and loves spooning and snuggling at night and at naptime, she might be your perfect match. Danica is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. Story
Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption only $200, in TX

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Gretel, a soulful Basset mix born on February 20, 2020. At six years old, she has perfected the art of being a relaxed, well-mannered house companion. Gretel is a professional lounger who is fully potty trained and knows exactly how to behave indoors. Story
Between July 5th and July 26th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $70! Meet Denali! At approximately 7 months old, Denali is already showing off his fun-loving personality and charming quirks. We believe he’s a mix of Basset Hound and a larger working breed such as an Anatolian Shepherd, Black Mouth Cur, or similar breed. The result is a handsome low-rider with a big personality, a bigger heart, and an expected adult weight of around 45-50 pounds. Denali loves to play fetch, chase squeaky toys, run around the yard, and be involved in whatever his people are doing. More than anything, he loves his humans and wants to be close to them. If he had his way, he’d spend his days following you from room to room and his evenings curled up beside you on the couch. Denali gets along with dogs and children, but because of his past, he can occasionally be fear-reactive and may stand his ground if challenged by another dog. The good news is that he responds well to correction, is eager to please, and has already made tremendous progress in a very short period of time. We fully expect his confidence to continue growing as he settles into a stable, loving home. While Denali enjoys canine companionship, he would do best with mellow, respectful dog friends. Any resident dogs should be easygoing, and his adopter should be comfortable managing introductions and continuing his positive training. He is not a difficult dog, just a dog who needs a thoughtful leader to help him succeed. Denali's ideal home would be with someone who appreciates a devoted best friend and can provide a calm, structured environment. In return, he’ll offer endless loyalty, affection, and entertainment. He would be especially well-suited for someone familiar with larger working breeds such as Anatolian Shepherds, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Black Mouth Curs, or similar breeds. Experience isn’t required because Denali is “problematic”, it’s simply because understanding how these intelligent, loyal dogs think will help him reach his full potential. Denali has come incredibly far in a short amount of time and continues to show us what a wonderful companion he can be. With patience, consistency, and love, he’s going to make someone an amazing best friend for years to come. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and oversized lap dog, Denali may just be your perfect match! Denali is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $275.00. Story
"CAN I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?? NO SERIOUSLY, OVER HERE, I NEED YOUR ATTENTION". Sweet MARCY is a fun and friendly girl in need of a home where she'll get plenty of attention because she loves to be loved on. Marcy adores everyone she meets, there are no strangers in her world, only new friends. She loves other dogs, is fine with cats, she's just a generally happy, personable beagle with a tail that never stops. In typical beagle fashion she loves doing zoomie laps around the yard. Marcy lost her home when her parents were no longer able to care for her due to some health issues (theirs, not hers) She's around 3 years old and is either a beagle or beagle mix. Marcy is carrying around way too much extra weight. She's currently 38 pounds but is on a diet to help her slim down so she can feel better and move and play more. She should be 30ish pounds in order to live a long healthy life. Marcy would be so happy to find a home with a physically-fenced yard where she can run and play, plus a cozy sofa where she can cuddle up with her people. Marcy is housebroken and crate trained, she pretty much ticks all the boxes. If you'd like to meet Marcy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Marcy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30-1:30 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 21, 2026, 8:24 pm
