Story
When Cobweb first arrived at the shelter, he was very overwhelmed by all the noise and chaos, but his sweet, snuggly nature shined right through from the start. Here’s what one volunteer said about him: “I walked Cobweb for the first time today and what a love bug he is! We went to the play yard where he enjoyed running freely and sniffing all the scents. As soon as I sat down he climbed up on me and starting licking my face. I decided to sit on the ground with him and he crawled into my lap and enjoyed just being snuggled. Everything I experienced with Cobweb was positive and friendly- he was very affectionate and easy to handle. We went for a short walk in the desert and he walked decently on the leash. I look forward to our next walk.”Cobweb spent almost three months in a loving foster home where he built so much confidence- here’s what they said about him:“Everything you need to know about Cobweb! His nicknames are Bubs and Bubba. He responds well to both. He’s by far one of the most special dogs I have ever met. He’s SOOOOO freaking sweet and when he loves you, he REALLY loves you. He’s a great cuddler and was great at being a couch potato while we worked from home. Cobweb is extremely treat- motivated and knows the commands sit, stay, leave it, kennel, and lay down (although he really dislikes laying down, usually too excited lol). With us, he got 3-4 several walks a day, but that’s because we don’t have a backyard. On his lucky days, we took him to run at Tucson Village Farm (no livestock, just veggies) or out camping with friends. He will thrive somewhere with a big back yard where he can really run free. Cobweb slept in his kennel and often would choose to hang out there while we were busy around the house. He would also happily bed sleep, if allowed, as he loves to cuddle and be close to his best buds. We kenneled Cobweb for several hours at a time when left alone without issue. Cobweb needs a bit of time to warm up to new people, but he usually decides pretty quickly that he loves them, as long as they don’t come on too strong. Treats are great for new introductions. I love this dog so stinking much and he is so deserving of the best loving home. He would do best with another dog who can show him the ropes and help him to trust people. He would also just love a dog friend to play with! A yard would be great too. While we`d love to keep him, our current life circumstances don’t allow for that. He’s a
