Story
We saw a post about Ham on facebook that he was one day away from being euthanized, I couldnt scroll scroll past it. I drove two hours away to save him because he deserves a chance at life. We have had him for about 4 months now and we dont think our small apartment is good for him to thrive in, we believe he would be much happier and less stressed in a larger apartment, house, or at least somewhere with a backyard. We take him on multiple walks a day but he just doesnt have much room in our apartment, I work nights and my roommate works days so we are very in and out of the home. Ham is a sweet boy and we just want him to have the happiest second chance at life 🩷 we have a cat that we have been having to hide in a different room because Ham does not like cats so it’s very stressful trying to manage everything. Please let me know if you have any questions comments or concerns

CENSUS DEADLINECLOSE OF BUSINESS Friday 11/14/25AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTERName: RustyAnimal ID: A875416Age: 3 yearsWeight: 55.0 lbs.Web Link: https://24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A875416 About: Happy Hound Seeking a Calm, Secure HomeMeet Rusty, a handsome 3-year-old hound mix whose enthusiasm for life is as big as his heart! This very happy, sweet boy is desperately looking for a loving, secure home where he can fully relax.Rusty first came to us as a stray, and while he was quickly adopted, he was sadly returned after only a month due to some very puppy-like behaviors that need dedicated management:Jumpy and Mouthy: Rusty is still learning his manners and can be overly excited with people, resorting to playful jumpy and mouthy behavior.Escape Artist: During his time in the home, he proved to be an expert at escaping. This is not malicious; it`s linked to his high anxiety.Rusty is a sensitive soul who spooks very easily at loud noises—a trait we`ve seen both in the shelter and in his previous home. When he is startled, his first instinct is to try and run away.To keep him safe, his new family must commit to these non-negotiable requirements:He requires a very high and secure yard. Any time he spends outside will need to be closely monitored to ensure that if he spooks, he doesn`t attempt to escape.Dog-Selective: Rusty has shown issues with other dogs in the home and is highly leash reactive on walks. While he is required to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption to ensure initial compatibility, his ideal home would be as the only pet to minimize stress and prevent conflict.Rusty is a wonderful dog who just needs patience, consistency, and a tranquil environment to thrive. If you can offer this sweet boy a safe sanctuary as a foster or are ready to give him his forever home, please come to the shelter today and ask to meet Rusty!Available for foster care (2+ weeks) or adoption through PACC.Interested parties:Must visit PACC before the Close of business Friday November 14th deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with.Home Management Plan1) DOG INTRO REQUIRED • Due to previously being dog selective with male dogs in playgroup; he may be too much for some dogs and

Story
Gentle, mellow, and affectionate Cow is as easygoing as they come! She loves being with people and has been slow and careful when meeting other dogs. At home, she’s a laid-back companion who enjoys napping with her humans or sunbathing in a cozy spot. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite, and she’ll happily roll over the moment you give her attention. She’s fully housebroken, doesn’t use a crate, and can be trusted alone in the home (though she’d rather not eat when she’s by herself). She always lets you know when she needs to go outside.?? Day Trip Highlights Grade: A+- Cuddled with kids for a movie night (ages 7 & 9)- Three words that describe her: sweet, calm, well-behavedKid-friendly, polite, and doesn’t jump on people or furniture- Sociable and fun, loves the outdoors, and happiest when relaxing with her people- This gentle soul is the perfect mix of affectionate and easygoing. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who’s great with kids and thrives on sunshine and belly rubs, she’s your girl!
