Story
Are you a rambler, an explorer, a traveler, a trailblazer, or wayfarer who is looking for a best bud to join you on your treks? Meet Evelyn! She’s a sweet gal who would LOVE to join you on your next adventure, be it through the streets of Tucson, or beyond. She believes in the value of a good walk and taking in the scenes and scents of your surroundings. Her volunteer friends appreciate that she encourages them to stop and smell the roses- here’s what one of her fans said:“Evelyn has a lot of energy and is very interested in every scent she comes across. We walked with her kennel mate around the lake, and she dashed from one good smell to the next.. She’s a fun girl who is easy to handle.”Evelyn shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She has a condition called cherry eye which is easily repaired- she’s just awaiting surgery that will be performed by PACC!While Evelyn would love to join you on your daily walks, she’d probably also love to join you in the simple pleasures of everyday life like yummy meals and snuggle time. Come meet this very good girl today!

Story
Billy is an 8-month-old bundle of joy with a heart full of love and a serious case of the zoomies! This sweet and rambunctious boy is always ready for playtime, adventures, and making everyone around him smile. He’s still very much a puppy, which means he’ll thrive with continued training, structure, and lots of positive outlets for his energy. After a good romp, Billy is more than happy to soak up affection and remind you just how cuddly he can be. If you’re looking for a fun-loving best friend to grow up with, Billy is your guy!

Story
EVE Eve is a small sweet Puggle (pug and beagle) the vet estimates is 6 yrs. old and is 22 pounds with long legs. She's a lovebug and wants to cuddle with a person on a couch/chair and in bed. She knows how to use a dog door and has had no inside accidents. She has a lot of play energy and needs a home where she will be walked a minimum of 1-2 times a day. She also needs another dog to play with and a back yard to run in. Eve can jump high and a minimum 5ft. wall all the way around is required. She is also a digger. Fencing must have a footer so she doesn't dig her way under. Children in the home should be at least 6 yrs. or older, due to her energy. Her favorite thing to do is lay in the back yard, waiting to stalk squirrels. We aren't sure if she is cat friendly. She is not happy being in a crate. We are looking to adopt Eve in the Tucson area as she has the potential to be a door dasher. If you are interested in adopting Eve or have any questions about her, please fill out an application on the Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue website. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1SnhudHYFJaPfZyCeKy36-9pbowOVOI-xrX4TIiSIxl4/edit Eve's adoption fee is $250.March 9, 2026, 12:25 am

Story
Tika is such a sweet 6 yr. old active girl. She is VERY inquisitive, can be stubborn, and is forever exploring. This includes being able to stretch to get into things she can reach on tables. She is a jumper and nothing less than a 5ft. block wall all the way around is required. She is an indoor/outdoor dog. Since she is a door dasher, we are looking to adopt Tika within the Tucson area. Children under age 6 or an adult unstable on their feet would not be a good fit for her. Tika needs a family to take her on daily walks and would benefit from having another active dog to play with. NO cats! She loves to ride in a car and is good on a leash. She's ok in a crate but not more than a few hours a day, due to separation anxiety. She is potty trained using a doggie door. Tika is being treated for Valley Fever, since 2024. Her titer has recently been staying at 1:2 with medication which she will most likely always need. An adopter must schedule regular Vet appointments to check her Titer level and other bloodwork. Tika became ill with masticatory muscle myositis, and we took her off our adoption list while that was being worked up. This is now being treated with Prednisolone. An adopter must schedule regular Vet appointments to check her bloodwork for this. This medication makes her hungry 24/7 and she is always in search of food. She will steal it from another dog, any area she can reach, including your hands. If you are interested in adopting sweet Tika or have any questions about her, please fill out an application on the Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue website. We consider applications on a first come first serve basis, however, we will also consider the best placement for Tika. Click here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1SnhudHYFJaPfZyCeKy36-9pbowOVOI-xrX4TIiSIxl4/edit to fill out an adoption application! Special needs adoption fee is $100.
