A Big Goofy Guy Oak came to us from a local shelter, and from the moment we met him, we could see what a special boy he is. He is a big, goofy guy who is incredibly sweet and loving and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his very own. Sweet, Loving & Full of Personality Oak is a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves being around people. His goofy personality makes him a fun and lovable companion, and he is sure to bring plenty of joy and laughter to his forever home. Oak’s Perfect Home Oak would do well in a home with another dog or as the only dog. Whether he has a canine companion to play with or gets all the attention for himself, Oak is ready for a loving family that will give him plenty of affection and make him part of the family. Meet Cleo! This lovely girl was surrendered to the shelter on 9/26 along with her bestie, Aisha, through no fault of their own. Their owner is in the military and being deployed. Aisha has been adopted. Cleo is house-trained, good with children, and dog friendly. Volunteers describe her as incredibly adorable and sweet! She's a smart cookie who knows several commands, including sit, down, and stay. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet pup, please come meet her! Cleo is approximately 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Cleo is waiting patiently in kennel 806; her ID # is 22915. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
