Meet beautiful Daisy! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl along with her friend, Sunflower, on 9/9, and no one has come to reclaim them. These ladies are now searching for new loving, forever homes. The volunteers describe them as very friendly and sweet. They're both treat-motivated and will sit nicely when asked. Daisy is the more outgoing of the two, and she warms up to new people quickly. Daisy is approximately 7 years old, and she weighs 40 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, she did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care, she can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives her treatment. Daisy is waiting in run 852; her ID # is 661759. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. We are seniors and adopted peanut and piglet ( daughter and mother) from a shelter near Chattanooga TN in 3/23 after our dog passed of old age and illness in 2/23. We had planned to adopt a poodle but she turned out to have serious biting issues. We love the girls but they were untrained and can’t deal with other dogs though they are good with our 5 year old granddaughter. We can’t train them we did get them vaccinated and spayed and microchipped. After several applications for her mother we have decided that we can’t separate the girls.
