Cooper is a sweetheart! He and his best buddy Beau were on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 5/27. Cooper is 2 years old and weighs in at 30 pounds. He is so cute but shy. He is very laid back. He is a perfect gentleman on a leash. Cooper and Beau are bonded and sleep in one bed. They will need to be adopted together. Wouldn't you like to wake up to these two boys? Ask for ID# 19338 and # 19337 Run 825. Cooper will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. A SWEET & FRIENDLY GIRL: Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 36 lbs. Hello – I’m Honeybun!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I’m so grateful to be part of the MM family. I’m currently in a wonderful foster home enjoying life while I wait for the day someone comes along and chooses me to be their very own.  I needed bloodwork before my surgery (see medical section below) and I've had that thanks to a generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I enjoyed hanging out with two dogs in one of my temp. foster homes as well as playing with some dogs I met at the Mostly Mutts shelter, so if you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I was a bit scared when I arrived at the shelter but began to blossom quickly.  Then the weather got really cold and there was an ‘all call’ for temporary fosters to host us until the weather passed, I went to a nice home and gained even more confidence there and had a great time, too!  I have a quiet and gentle nature, and my foster said I am ‘just a lovely dog’ who will be a great addition to a lucky family. With my cute little face, I am ready to charm my new family and live a great life with them. / My energy level is 6-7 so I have pep in my step at 10 years old. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands and walk well on my leash, too.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts and in my temp. foster homes, too. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule with only a few accidents, and they were good in my temp. foster homes. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  My favorite thing is being with my people.  Whether we are enjoying a nice walk or cuddling on the couch, I treasure those times.  I love to be in a lap, so make room for me, and let’s cuddle!  I also enjoy playing fetch and throwing my toys up in the air when I play. / I was VERY nervous during the car ride from the shelter to my foster home.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I had a good dental cleaning and a few teeth removed, so my mouth is fresh again.  I also had a large tumor removed from my right hind quarter, so that feels better!  Just ask about it. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 31, 2026, 8:10 am

Story
We adopted Colsen from a rescue agency in 2022. He was already a senior dog. We believe he is around 11 or 12, but still lots of life. He is always wagging his tail. He is really sweet and affectionate -- loves attention. And he is pretty low maintenance. He is house trained, but he is a beagle - so he has all the common traits of a beagle: always looking for food, a real escape artist, a lot of barking if he picks up the scent of something. We think he was probably a hunting dog in his previous life. When he's not exploring, he's pretty much a couch potato. We would love to find him a loving, chill home. He gets along well with other dogs and kids older than toddler age. He is not aggressive at all, but he can get a little spooked if an unpredictable toddler is getting in his business. He has snapped at a toddler before who he felt threatened by. Our family has a toddler now, and it is tough to keep them separated all the time.
