WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🎀✨ Meet Cindy Lou — Your Future Walking, Wagging Tail Bundle of Joy ✨🎀 At just a year old, Cindy Lou is already proving she’s less “puppy” and more full-blown heart thief. With her stunning reddish and black coat, bright amber eyes, and joyful spirit, she looks very much like a Harrier/German Shepherd mix. What that really means? Brains, beauty, loyalty, and just the right dash of playful sass. Cindy Lou is sweet, affectionate, playful, and delightfully goofy — the total package. She adores her people (big and small), though she’s still mastering the fine art of containing her enthusiasm when love is involved. Because she’s young and energetic, a home with older kids would be ideal — especially the kind who want a backyard buddy to chase, run, and burn off zoomies with. And speaking of zoomies… Cindy Lou absolutely loves Glacier and would thrive with a canine sibling. She would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to wrestle, romp, and share adventures with. She’s happiest when she has both her humans and a four-legged best friend by her side. Outdoorsy? Even just a little? Cindy Lou is ready. She’s got that “Where are we going next?” energy wrapped in curiosity and confidence. Ranch walks? Check. Trails? Absolutely. Puddle splashing like it’s an Olympic sport? Gold medalist. Off leash, she checks in beautifully — loyal and tuned in, like she genuinely wants to be part of your team. After spending far too much of her young life in rescue, Cindy Lou is more than ready for the good stuff: A home. A routine. A snack schedule she can rely on. A couch she can dramatically flop onto after a hard day of being adorable. 🌟 Cindy Lou’s Highlights: • 1 year old (DOB 2/24/25) • 60 lbs • Gorgeous Harrier/German Shepherd mix • Great with people & other dogs • Would do best with a canine sibling • Likely best with older kids due to playful energy • Smart, social, affectionate (Velcro level: elite) • Adventure buddy by day, champion snuggler by night If you’re looking for a loyal, lively, backyard-chasing, dog-loving best friend who will fill your days with laughter and your home with joy, Cindy Lou is ready to prance straight into your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Cindy Lou is ready to start her forever story with you. 🐾💖

Story
Samwell Tarly (aka Tucker) is back and looking for his forever home!  Samwell Tarly (knows Tucker) is a 10yo 20lb Boxer mix who was returned to us through no fault of his own. He is a polite, quiet boy who is house and crate trained, great on the leash and in the car. He has done well with dogs and children, greeting potential adopters with a friendly wag of his tail.  After 24 hours with him in his new foster home, we have learned many things about this sweet boy! 1. He is very well trained! He knows “sit”, “stay”, and “shake” and I’m sure there are even more!  2. He LOVES to be outside and to go for car rides!  3. He is such a smart cookie! He alerts for the bathroom and knows when it’s time to eat!  4. He has a huge heart and the softest ears! He’s a great snuggler!  5. He would make a perfect first pet for someone! Samwell is our first foster (and first pet) and he has done such a great job! He is still getting acclimated, but he’s been such an easy pup!December 1, 2025, 9:29 am

Story
Hi, my name is Skyler.  Foster mom says they named me that because I got hit by a car and went flying through the sky. Just kidding. I did get hit by a car and had a fractured hip and scapula. I also had nerve damage in my foot. When I first got here, I would drag my paw so foster mom was calling me flapper. She said it was because my Paw would just flap flap flap. Then she would take my paw in her hands and rub it like a genie’s lamp while saying “come on flapper, come on flapper”. I don’t know about you but that doesn’t seem medical to me. But, whatever something is working. Foster mom says I’m a resilient little guy cause I’m pretty much all better now and ready to find my forever. I still have some nerve damage in my foot but the vet says it’s okay to find my family. When you meet me you will see that I still favor it a bit, but I’m getting better every day. I don’t let it get me down, I just keep on moving. I do have to say I’m a pretty good dog. I don’t poop or pee in my crate. I clean my plate every time. I don’t do my business in the house, as long as you let me out frequently and I can be trusted overnight. I don’t usually mess with stuff that’s not mine either. There was this one time when I got mom‘s phone charging cord. She didn’t get mad though. She just looked at me and said “what were you thinking”. I looked right back at her like “duh, I’m a dog”. I was just confused. I play well with the other dogs and even share my bones. She said she wishes she could keep me around, but she’s already got too many dogs and she really does. We have to play like the floor is lava and jump from the couch to the chair to the bed because there’s hardly any room to walk. I love playing with all the dogs here, but it really would be nice to have a little bit more room to play and more personal cuddle time. My compact size means I won’t hog all the bed at night. If you think you might be my person better get online now and put your application in. The sooner you get approved the sooner we can start our forever together.    March 4, 2026, 7:08 am
