WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌟🐾 Meet Gypsy — Short Legs, Big Heart, Still Waiting 💛🐾 Gypsy has been waiting… and waiting… and waiting. And honestly? She’s waited far too long for a girl this special. At 2 years old and 28 pounds, Gypsy is a delightful blend of Cattle Dog smarts and Basset Hound charm — think low-rider body, big-dog energy, and a personality that could light up a room. She’s basically the off-road model of a best friend: compact, sturdy, and always ready for an adventure. Gypsy LOVES her walks and is getting better and better on leash every day. She’s happiest when she’s outside, exploring the yard, supervising chores, or keeping an eye out for squirrels (her self-appointed job, and she takes it very seriously). When playtime winds down, she’s just as content following her favorite human around like a loyal little shadow. She’s playful, affectionate, and full of goofy charm. Toys are fun. Shoelaces are very intriguing. And her signature low-rider zoomies? Absolutely legendary. 🐾 Gypsy’s Highlights: ✅ 2 years old, 28 lbs ✅ Dog-friendly ✅ House & crate trained ✅ Loves walks and outdoor time ✅ Sweet, silly, and full of personality ✅ Equal parts sass, snuggles, and sunshine While Gypsy does great with other dogs, cats are an unknown — mostly because Gypsy believes squirrels are public enemy #1 — so she may prefer a home without feline roommates. What Gypsy really wants, though, isn’t much. She wants a family who will love her quirks, laugh at her goofy legs, and finally give her the forever home she’s been patiently waiting for. She’s ready to be someone’s hiking buddy, couch companion, and daily dose of happiness. 💛 Gypsy has so much love to give — she just needs someone to give her a chance. Short legs. Big heart. Endless loyalty. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Gypsy finally stop waiting and start living the life she deserves. 🐾💛

Story
OLLIE is a happy-go-lucky beagle boy looking for a home. He loves loves loves people. He likes zoomies and treats as well but he loves to be with people. He's a handsome 2-3 year old guy with beautiful markings. Ollie is a bit on the chunky side, he should be 28-30 pounds. Ollie is dog friendly and needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Ollie please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. You can meet Ollie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED! Meet PATSY PUGGLE, a sweet, gentle timid girl looking for a home. Patsy Puggle has been a months-long project for her foster mom. She came to the rescue a terrified mess. She was a stray dog who gave birth to puppies. She had to be trapped in order to be captured along with her pups. We were told that a rescue agreed to take the puppies, but wouldn't take mama because she was so terrified. It's been a journey getting Patsy ready for a home, but she's finally ready! Patsy Puggle is a puggle (pug/beagle)-type mixed breed girl, 5ish years old and fully grown at 25 pounds. Patsy needs a quiet home with a patient adopter who will help build her confidence. Patsy Puggle needs a well-balanced dog sibling to help her navigate life. She adores her confident foster sister. She MUST have a fur sibling, no exceptions. Patsy Puggle needs a secure, physically fenced yard to keep her safe. Patsy Puggle is housebroken, crate trained and dog and cat friendly. She is not a suitable dog for a first-time pet parent. If you would like to meet Patsy Puggle, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter.
