Story
Sassy is a lovely white and tan hound mix who found herself at CHA because the other dogs in her prior home were aggressive toward her. She is a little on the timid side, but brave, sweet and needs the stability of a forever home. As a young adult, she has plenty of years ahead of her. If you`re looking to add a cherished family member to your home, ask to meet Sassy today. She`s a nice girl.

Story
My father passed away a few months ago and I’m looking to find an amazing home for his dog. His name is Raleigh, he will be 5 in June! He is a beagle/hound mixed cutie and about 60lbs. (Yes I LOVE this dog and would take him if I physically could ❤️). He has medical needs (epilepsy) that is well controlled with meds (no seizures since July)… but does require someone that’s available to administer meds at certain times throughout the day (4x a day). He’s amazing with other dogs, loves to cuddle, and clings to his people. TBD on cats, I don’t know if he’s been test but he’s submissive enough my guess would be he would do great. He’s been staying with a sitter and she’s not going to be able to keep him much longer and I’m not able to keep him with my work schedule.

Story
NorbertMaleAge: 6 yearsWeight: 30 lbsBreed: Beagle Pug MixTrial Adoption Eligible Hi! I’m Norbert. I am a loving, friendly and happy guy who gets along with other dogs, but not so much cats as I like to chase them. Children have been a stressor for me in the past, so a home without children would be best for me. I am house trained and crate trained too. My favorite treats are freeze dried tripe from that Hollywood Feed Store and I have a Moose stuffed toy I enjoy. In my daily life, I like to lounge on the couch, explore the yard and take walks. I can be an escape artist, so supervised playtime in the yard is a good idea. My foster mom says I am pretty quiet for a beagle. I am gentle and polite with all my doggy friends and I really love to cuddle with my humans. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me all the love and attention I deserve! To help me find the perfect match, I’m eligible for Cause for Canines’ Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. You must be an approved adopter to participate. If you are interested in meeting Norbert, apply to adopt at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Home without Children.  ##1566915##
