Ideal Home: Milo would do well with an active family or individual who will give him plenty of playtime, sniff walks, and affection. He can live with another dog or as an only dog, though slow introductions are best. Like many rescue dogs, he needs a few days to settle into a new home before his playful, loving personality shines. He's still working on house training, basic commands, and building confidence, so he'll thrive with a patient adopter who will continue his training using positive reinforcement.
Likes:Milo loves snuggling, peanut butter treats, chew toys, tug-of-war, and following every interesting scent his beagle nose can find. Once he's comfortable, he wants to be close to his people and is happiest curled up beside them. Most of all, Milo adores children and is incredibly gentle and affectionate with them.
Dislikes:Milo is still a little unsure around cats and prefers to give them plenty of space. He's also building confidence with going outside on his own and will happily sleep in his crate, though he's still learning to go in willingly.
Milo's velvety soft ears are hard to resist, but it's his gentle heart that makes him unforgettable. Watching him blossom from a shy pup into a playful, loving companion is incredibly rewarding. He can match the energy of the home—ready for fun when it's playtime and happy to cuddle when it's time to relax. His sweet nature and love for children will make him a wonderful family dog.
All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, deworming, and the dog will be current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
