Louise and Thelma came in when they were posted on Facebook for free. The local shelter contacted us to see if we could bring them in to find them a safe home. They are bonded and will need to stay together. They would do best in a home with just the two of them. They are super cuddly and would be amazing Netflix binge watching partners! If you have a quiet home and would like to give these special gals a forever home please contact us!

Story
Ava is a wonderfully sweet girl. She came in as an owner surrender. She lost her front leg when she was hit by a car at a very young age. She is great with other dogs but does need quieter dogs as she can get overwhelmed by high energy dogs since she can't move very fast. She does have a thyroid condition and will need a home that can make sure she is getting her daily medication to keep it under control. She also needs to be kept on a strict diet to keep her from gaining any extra weight. with only one front leg she can't have any extra weight on those joints. She loves people and is quiet the cuddle bug. She lives with a 6yr old child and does great, she would do best in a home with older children due to her mobility challenges. Story
Copper and Goldie came in on an owner surrender. They are both very sweet and have gotten along with the fosters resident hounds. They are very bonded and depend on each other for security. They are learning to live in the house and are now potty trained. They would benefit from a quiet home where they could get lots of love, give lots of kisses and have room to run. Goldie will need a secure fence as she sometimes tends to take herself for walks! Story
Lizzy is a beautiful 4 yr old female. She was found at a campsite wandering around looking for food. She was moved to a foster who has done an absolutely amazing job with her. Her foster describes her as the bestis girl ever! She is definitely a girls bff! She loves to be wherever you are. She will glady lay her head in your lap. She walks well on a leash and loves to sniff. She also loves being a couch potato. She is not a fan of nail trims but she is very food and treat motivated so much so that she tends to counter surf if left alone. She is very gentle around children and she is cat friendly. She loves other dogs but prefers calmer dogs. If you would be interested in our sweet Lizzy please contact us!

Thelma and Louise came in when the shelter saw a post giving them away for free. They reached out to us to see if we could bring them in. They are currently in foster care but they do need to be in a home where they are the only dogs. They are very sweet girls, easy to get along with and love to cuddle! We would like to find a quiet home for these sweet girls. If you would be interested in giving these two special gals a forever home please let us know!

Story
We found Cele (pronouced Celly) wandering in our neighborhood at the end of February this year (2026). He seemed scared but let me approach him. He had no collar and we discovered he was not chipped and he was not neutered. Vet told us he was 7-8 months at the time, so that would make him a little over a year old now. He looks and has the build of a Plott Hound. Potentially another breed, but unsure. He has been good around people and no issues with other dogs thus far, but gets very excited, impulsive and does not know how to behave when around other dogs. However, he has been living with 2 small Dachshunds since we found him with no issue. He has a lot of energy, very fast, strong and when excited he seems to have tunnel vision and not listen to commands. He is very loving and loves attention. He knows sit well, but has struggled with getting other commands to stick. As much as I would love to keep this sweet boy, our schedules and yard are not condusive for him to thrive.
