Story
Jay is currently in foster care in Lacey, WA.
She’s an affectionate, playful, people-loving pup estimated to be 11 months old. She has a naturally calm demeanor. Jay is happiest when she’s cozied up beside you—she’s a total snuggler—and she sleeps soundly through the night without needing to go out.
Jay is gentle with treats, knows how to sit on command, and walks beautifully on a leash with no pulling. She loves playtime and gets along wonderfully with other pets, making her a great fit for a multi-pet home. She also adores children and currently lives with two kids, ages 12 and 9. Jay is fully grown at 43 pounds.
While she can be shy at first, she warms up quickly—and once she does, she’ll be your loyal shadow. She rides quietly in the car and is respectful around the house, not getting into things she shouldn’t. Jay is also crate-training for when her foster family leaves the home.
This polite girl loves to play fetch and will politely drop the ball/toy when she brings it back.
Jay is ready to bring joy, companionship, and lots of love to her forever family.

Jay is small and only43pounds FULL grown, .She likely should weigh 40 and lose a few pounds lol! (Saved from Lufkin-Kurth shelter in TX. Truth is she is a mutt, and we do not know what breeds she is.

She’s already walking well on a leash and is currently in the process of nearly being completely potty trained—making steady progress every day. We expect very soon she will be totally potty trained. Best of all, Jay sleeps soundly through the night.

Currently ALL dogs we have posted from Lufkin-Kurth Texas are not only human and dog friendly but cat friendly too!
Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs.
She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA).
