WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🎀✨ Meet Cindy Lou — Your Future Walking, Wagging Tail Bundle of Joy ✨🎀 At just a year old, Cindy Lou is already proving she’s less “puppy” and more full-blown heart thief. With her stunning reddish and black coat, bright amber eyes, and joyful spirit, she looks very much like a Harrier/German Shepherd mix. What that really means? Brains, beauty, loyalty, and just the right dash of playful sass. Cindy Lou is sweet, affectionate, playful, and delightfully goofy — the total package. She adores her people (big and small), though she’s still mastering the fine art of containing her enthusiasm when love is involved. Because she’s young and energetic, a home with older kids would be ideal — especially the kind who want a backyard buddy to chase, run, and burn off zoomies with. And speaking of zoomies… Cindy Lou absolutely loves Glacier and would thrive with a canine sibling. She would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to wrestle, romp, and share adventures with. She’s happiest when she has both her humans and a four-legged best friend by her side. Outdoorsy? Even just a little? Cindy Lou is ready. She’s got that “Where are we going next?” energy wrapped in curiosity and confidence. Ranch walks? Check. Trails? Absolutely. Puddle splashing like it’s an Olympic sport? Gold medalist. Off leash, she checks in beautifully — loyal and tuned in, like she genuinely wants to be part of your team. After spending far too much of her young life in rescue, Cindy Lou is more than ready for the good stuff: A home. A routine. A snack schedule she can rely on. A couch she can dramatically flop onto after a hard day of being adorable. 🌟 Cindy Lou’s Highlights: • 1 year old (DOB 2/24/25) • 60 lbs • Gorgeous Harrier/German Shepherd mix • Great with people & other dogs • Would do best with a canine sibling • Likely best with older kids due to playful energy • Smart, social, affectionate (Velcro level: elite) • Adventure buddy by day, champion snuggler by night If you’re looking for a loyal, lively, backyard-chasing, dog-loving best friend who will fill your days with laughter and your home with joy, Cindy Lou is ready to prance straight into your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Cindy Lou is ready to start her forever story with you. 🐾💖

Story
Meet Jenny! Jenny is a soft, soulful, and quietly wonderful girl. She is a 3-year-old Beagle mix who has a gentle heart and a story that has taught her to move through the world carefully. Once she knows you, she is very sweet, but trust takes time and that is okay. Jenny isn't the kind of dog who rushes into relationships. She blossoms slowly, on her own timeline, with patience and kindness. What Jenny does know right away is dogs. She absolutely loves them and truly thrives as part of a pack. She bonds deeply with other dogs in a way she simply doesn't with people, and they give her confidence and comfort. She adores dogs of all sizes, plays happily with them, and will even choose to snuggle with her dog friends at bedtime, although she is perfectly content sleeping in bed with you, too. Because of her past, Jenny is scared of the leash and needs a home that understands she may always be more of a homebody. That said, she loves being outside, especially sunbathing, which might just be her favorite hobby. She is calm, quiet, crate trained, housebroken, and treat motivated. She will happily take treats from your hand and allow gentle pets, especially when her dog friends are nearby cheering her on. Jenny is indifferent to cats and would do best in a quiet, adult-only home or one with older children (over 12) who can respect her space and allow her to exist without pressure. The best way to win Jenny over is to ignore her, let her come to you, and let the trust build naturally. No forcing, no expectations, just patience. She is just deeply lovable, a little quirky, and absolutely worth getting to know. For the right family, especially one with other friendly dogs, Jenny will be a soft, steady presence who brings warmth, humor, and heart in her own beautifully subtle way.  Jenny is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $350 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
