You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hello, I’m Erebus! I’ve got a “Little Rascals” style eye patch marking and am almost 50/50 black and white! I am a gentle giant and quite shy, but once I get to know you, I would like some head pets and a few belly rubs. Please be very patient with me. I enjoy playing with fishing toys and wrestling with my best friend, Kabuki. I get along well with other cats. I am not sure how I feel about dogs since I have never met one, but I did grow up on a farm, so I have most likely met other animals. I’d love to become one of your family, as long as you have a quieter home and are willing to give me some time and space to feel safe. I am not really what you might call a lap cat, but I am sweet as pie.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. May 20, 2024, 11:54 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Dutch (aka Duke) is a 13-year-old male cat. Unfortunately, Duke's owner passed away, and he was brought to a shelter by his owners’ family. He was very confused and was meowing sadly. Luckily, a volunteer from Last Day Dog Rescue happened to be at the shelter that same day, and we were able to rescue him. At his age, Duke deserves to be loved on and spoiled. He seems healthy and likely has several good years to spend with a new forever family. Duke is friendly and loving, he enjoys head scratches and being petted. He has an adorable yowl/purr sound. All he wants is love and attention, good quality cat food (he seems to prefer kibble and not canned food) and to be next to you. He would prefer a quiet home where he can relax by your side. Duke is quite the handsome gentleman, short haired with soft white and grey fur! Duke is neutered, all four paws declawed (by his previous owner), and negative for FIV/FELV. He has been vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. If you are interested in meeting Duke, please fill out an adoption application. After a vet check has been completed, we will contact you for a meet and greet. &#226&#128&#139 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hiya, I'm Pepper!   I was found outside laboring when a good samaritan brought me inside and found me rescue. I went to the ER vet and I had an emergency c-section and hysterectomy. I went into premature labor and was having trouble - they tried to save the kittens but they were too premature.    Now I am ready for my forever home. I love to get pets, knead dough, and hang around with my foster dad. I am a playful, affectionate gal. I do well with young kittens, but not a fan of older cats and please NO dogs. I am afraid of the loud noises the dogs make and don't really care for those guys. Looking for humans to hang out with and play with me. Do you have a lap I can frequent? I'll cuddle with you. Give me love and I will return it ten-fold.   If you would like to meet me fill out an application!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
