Story
Rusty is a perfect kitty for a quiet, slower paced home environment.
If you are an adult who enjoys layed back afternoons or nights relaxing with a good book or television program, Rusty will keep you company for hours. He has a heart of gold, and the most loving personality.
Rusty is a very purry kitty and loves to follow his loved ones around the house. He's vocal, and chirps to get his point across! Rusty is awaiting a loving forever home. All homeless animals deserve their happily ever after. It's now Rusty's turn.
*Rusty has FIV which is a manageable condition, not a death sentence, with many FIV+ cats living normal lifespans. Please read more below!

*FIV is a manageable condition, not a death sentence, with many FIV+ cats living normal lifespans. There’s a good chance that pet parents have had an FIV+ cat without even realizing it, because many cats never show symptoms.
Routine vet checkups, even if your cat seems healthy are important. As with any adult cat, keeping vaccinations current is also important.
Be vigilant about any signs of illness. FIV+ cats can’t fight off infections as effectively as cats without FIV, so periodic vet visits are very important.
While there is currently no recommended vaccine for FIV, it is a manageable condition
with proper care and a loving home. Felines with this condition can live long, happy lives.
FIV+ cats can live normal lifespans of 12 to 18 years. Although FIV might weaken their immune system, regular vet checkups, an indoor lifestyle, and minimizing stress can keep them healthy for many years.
