Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FULL OF ENERGY!Tommy Tippy Toes was born 5/10/2012.  He appears to be a Havana/Siamese Mix.  He has long legs, long body, and a Havana Face.  His personality is absolutely hilarious!  We also call him 'Surprised Cat' because the look in his eyes seems to always be of 'surprise'!  This boy has two speeds.  He is either so full on energy or plain layed out!  He loves to climb, drink out of the faucet and play with the 'ball in the round' toy. Our vets think he looks egyptian/oriental but from what we have researched he really looks like the Havana Brown.  Not all Havana Brown's are brown, some are black.  He has the same structural build as the Havana Brown with the long, thick legs, long body, and long face with large green eyes.  He is special needs and requires Allergy Antigen Injections every 21 days due to severe allergies.  He must also be kept in a clean dust free environment. Tommy Tippy Toes also has attitude and is only okay in your lap when he wants to jump into it.  If you try and force him - you will get bitten. *Thank you Galye R. for sponsoring Tommy Tippy Toes while he waits to be adopted.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 9, 2025, 2:19 pm

Story
Paola is the feistiest of her siblings. It turns out that that she is not a fan of dogs - and other kitties will need a slow introduction. :) P.S. Paola is litter box trained- but never been in a house before- so please teach her with patience to not be in places you do not want her to be! NOTE: We are convinced that Paola was a mouser or a barn cat in one of her former nine lives. That is not to say that after getting tuckered out she'd like to be held. She likes to be picked up gently and cradled like a baby to get tummy rubs. This tuxedo baby is fearless- and she will always call your bluff. If you do indeed get to grace Ms. Paola with your presence - it will be you and her against the world!

Story
Mr. Heath knows he is special looking, and has the fiercest attitude of them all. He walks as if he owns the cat room - and is always watching over his brother Edgar. We believe that Heath would like some pets -but doesn't want to let on that he does. Edgar is Heath's emotional support cat- and even though it is not a requirement that they leave together, we think it would be beneficial for all involved if they were. Heath looks on curiously as Edgar purrs while being petted - and we hope he will understand that enjoying human interaction does NOT mean he is not in charge. We really think that this duo will be the most rewarding. :) Edgar and Heath are still under the age of 1. Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!

Story
Edgar came to us a small thing along with his brother- Heath. Its taken some time for them to trust us- but Edgar has come a long way. He no longer runs away when he sees a human, and has actually lumped himself on the ground and showed his belly. We worry that Edgar will be overlooked because of his more exotic looking brother, Heath. We really do believe that they will do better together- and will not be as scared and adapt more easily if they are in an new environment together. They were found huddled and alone- all they know is each other :). If you want a duo that that will learn to love you twice as much- this is your sign! Please be patient - In a world that constantly asks them to accept what is no matter what or how it happened- they do not show any hate or aggression- only a small amount of fear that we know can go away within time and with the right person or family. They respond very well to classical and soothing music for cats. Having it play while they are in your household will help tremendously. Edgar and Heath are still under the age of 1.
