You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FULL OF ENERGY!Tommy Tippy Toes was born 5/10/2012.  He appears to be a Havana/Siamese Mix.  He has long legs, long body, and a Havana Face.  His personality is absolutely hilarious!  We also call him 'Surprised Cat' because the look in his eyes seems to always be of 'surprise'!  This boy has two speeds.  He is either so full on energy or plain layed out!  He loves to climb, drink out of the faucet and play with the 'ball in the round' toy. Our vets think he looks egyptian/oriental but from what we have researched he really looks like the Havana Brown.  Not all Havana Brown's are brown, some are black.  He has the same structural build as the Havana Brown with the long, thick legs, long body, and long face with large green eyes.  He is special needs and requires Allergy Antigen Injections every 21 days due to severe allergies.  He must also be kept in a clean dust free environment. Tommy Tippy Toes also has attitude and is only okay in your lap when he wants to jump into it.  If you try and force him - you will get bitten. *Thank you Galye R. for sponsoring Tommy Tippy Toes while he waits to be adopted.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 9, 2025, 2:19 pm

Story
LOVES TO CUDDLE, PLAY, AND ENTERTAIN  DOB 5/18/22 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mikey, a sweet, friendly, curious, playful, and entertaining “bicolor,” which means that I'm mostly white with grey tabby on my head, back, and tail. I got my name from a 1972 Quaker Oaks “Mikey Likes It” commercial of a toddler who would “eat anything.” That’s me, and I’m not ashamed at all! There are cats starving in China, so no food should be tossed out! You see, my family moved out of their apartment and left me behind to fend for myself outside. I’m a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, so I made the best of my situation. I enjoyed climbing trees, chasing squirrels, and following folks when they walked their dogs. I assumed that an open apartment door was an invitation for me to mosey on in, and everyone adored me. Only problem was, nobody wanted to adopt a stray cat, which is what I really wanted. So “I ate anything” until my future foster meowmy decided that she wanted to foster me until she could find me my forever home with a family who’d never abandon me again. Here I am in my foster home, happy as a lark with the other kitties. I love to cuddle beside Foster Meowmy as we binge on Netflix and Animal Planet, and when she heads for bed, I curl up at her feet. And boy howdy! I love to entertain my hoomans when we interactively play with feather wand-toys and laser pointers as well as when I play soccer with my crinkle balls and catnip mice. I’d be a great kids’ playmate as long as they knew that I don’t like to be picked up. Arrange to meet me today! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a kitty like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your treasured accessories. HOPE ID 23-1118-S004 Mikey's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Mikey will be this weekend, email us at nancy.e.kline@hotmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
ADORABLE LITTLE MISCHIEF-MAKERS  DOB 3/29/25 Hey there, everyone! We’re Florence and Frida, an inseparable pair of almost-identical tortoiseshell twin sisters. Our foster pawrents tell us apart because I (Frida) have white mittens on my front paws and high white boots on my back legs as well as a splash or apricot on my forehead. We were born in foster care to a stray momma who had been rescued, so we've been handled a lot from the get-go. We both love it when our foster pawrents lavish us with loving attention. In fact, we expect to be cooed over! Once I (Florence) got comfy with my foster hoomans' coddling me, I was the first to vocalize my complaint when I noticed that they weren’t focusing enough on us; however, now I (Frida) am not afraid to add my voice to the choir in demanding more attention when we’ve been ignored. I (Frida) am the leader of the two of us, so I’m usually the first to investigate new experiences, and I (Florence) usually follow not far behind. Our foster pawrents call us their little troublemakers, and we are making an effort to learn our boundaries and restrictions. It’s difficult to find us when we’re not together. We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now we’re ready to bring our frenetic kitten energy, sociability, and mischief-making to our forever family. Could that be you? Our foster pawrents are insisting that we be adopted together so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while our hoomans are at work or on vacation. We promise to be more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Arrange to meet us today!! HOPE ID 25-0511-G093, G094 Florence & Frida’s $250 bonded-pair adoption fee includes spay/neuter basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. LAP CAT WHO PURRS AND CHATS DOB 5/31/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Cheets, a friendly, affectionate, and snuggly “bicolor” fella, which means that I’m mostly white with red tabby on my head, “saddleback,” and tail. I adore spending quality time cuddling in Foster Meowmy’s lap because that’s where I can turn on my purr motor as well as chat with her about how our day is going. My favorite part of the day is our interactive playtime when she waves the wand toy over my head or snakes it around the room for me to chase. During my solitary moments, I enjoy watching “kitty TV” by basking in a patch of sunshine on the windowsill while I observe the birds fly by outside. I was about two months old with no momma or siblings in sight when I started showing up at Foster Meowmy’s community-cat feeding station behind a strip club. I’m very food-motivated, so all it took was her serving wet food to convince me that I could trust her. When she first took me home, I was initially shy as I adjusted to life indoors. With no dogs, kids, or other adults, the quiet peace of my foster home suited me to a “T.” I’m happy to report that it didn’t take me long to learn that it felt soooooooo good when Foster Meowmy scratched my cheeks, chin, and ears. One thing led to another, and voila, I was soon a very vocal, loving lap cat! To my delight, she soon rescued another orphaned red-and-white tabby gal named Cheeto, who is just two weeks younger than I am. Gosh! We look so much alike that you would think we are related except that I am noticeably larger than she is. We have a blast tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I’m also super-friendly with the three resident cats, although it hurts my feelings that they don’t respond to my amiable overtures. Now I’m ready to be the lovable chatty-cat and loving purr-monster with my new family. Could that be with you? Although we’re available separately, Cheeto and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 25-0726-A064 Cheets’ $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
