Story
Lucy was born around February 21, 2019 and weighs about 20 pounds.   Lucy and five other dogs were surrendered to us when their human needed surgery and was no longer able to care for them.  Lucy is very laid back and loves other dogs and her humans, including children.  Lucy rode well in the car on the two-hour trip to the rescue.  This is all we know so far, and we will be learning as we go, and so will you!  The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES   We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.   Can't Adopt Me?  SPONSOR ME Look for the Link 'Special Instructions to Seller' if you want to note a particular pet Before you seek to adopt a pet from Joyful Rescues, please read our Pet Adoption page http://www.joyfulrescues.org/pet_adoption.html. Story
Xavier was born around July 1, 2018 and weighs about 10 pounds.  Xavier has been a stud for a backyard breeder for most of his life, and we are so happy we have been chosen to find him a real home and he will no longer have to 'work' for his kibble.  Xavier is incredibly well-adjusted and a happy-go-lucky kind of dude! Xavier will stick with you when doing chores outside and adores his humans.  Xavier is fantastic with other dogs and doesn't mind cats.  We don't have children around here, but we can't imagine he would have an issue living with them.  Xavier rode well on the short car ride to Joyful and was a champ about getting his face trimmed when he arrived.  Update from his foster mom:  X was comfortable in my home upon arrival.  He was good on the hour long car ride and immediately good with my husband.  X was fine for his bath and he seems to have a crush on one of my other dogs - so cute!  He sleeps nicely through the night and isn't a barker.  The only noise we've heard so far is an adorable soft howl.  We are working on house training and learning each others habits and clues but all in all he has been one of my most delightful fosters and someone is going to LOVE this boy to pieces!!!    The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_550.00_______.
