Rory and MayBelle are a bonded pair who have been loved and doted on their whole lives. Adopted by a longtime Save A Dog supporter, these sweet pups are up for placement because of their owner’s terminal illness. Rory is 11 years old and about 17 pounds; MayBelle is 8 and about 36 pounds. Both are affectionate and playful. Rory is a sensitive soul – he originally came from a hoarding situation and so takes a little while to feel comfortable in a new environment, but once he trusts you, he’ll beg for belly rubs and be your friend forever. His mom calls him her “furry four-legged water bottle.” MayBelle is gentle and outgoing. She loves people and is very sociable and affectionate. She’s the confident one of the pair, and Rory tends to follow her lead. As their mom put it, “Their personalities—MayBelle’s boldness and Rory’s sensitivity—make them a lovable pair that brings warmth to any home.” Both dogs know some basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it. They have always been fed a fresh-food diet and have received natural flea/tick preventatives, so we are seeking a holistic-minded adopter. DOB 12-12-2024 This sweet tiny little Poodle mix did not have a good start so she is looking for a loving Mom that needs her too! Georgie is social but shy, very sweet and loves to play with other little dogs like herself. Georgie has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 6 pounds. Her adoption fee is 850..00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Scooby and Brandy! These two senior pups came in together but don't seem extremely bonded and could be separated to each go to their own perfect family. Brandy is a little shy at first but warms up in no time, she's low energy, sweet, and has the cutest curly whiskers that we've ever seen. Scooby has a touch of anxiety and absolutely loves his people. They have not lived with kids or cats before, but they may be able to do well with older, savvy, and gentle children in the home who know how to respect their space at first.
