Rory is a sweet and peppy 17-pound Havanese/Maltese mix. He's 11, but he's a little dog and still has many years of fun in him! Rory came to Save a Dog with MayBelle, surrendered by their adoring owner when she developed a terminal illness. He is a friendly boy who loves belly rubs. His mom called him her "furry four-legged water bottle" because he is so snuggly. He was raised with holistic care and supplements so should live a long and healthy life. Rory knows basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it. He is housetrained and crate trained. Won't you give him a second chance at a loving home? DOB 12-12-2024 This sweet tiny little Poodle mix did not have a good start so she is looking for a loving Mom that needs her too! Georgie is social but shy, very sweet and loves to play with other little dogs like herself. Georgie has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 6 pounds. Her adoption fee is 850..00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Scooby and Brandy! These two senior pups came in together but don't seem extremely bonded and could be separated to each go to their own perfect family. Brandy is a little shy at first but warms up in no time, she's low energy, sweet, and has the cutest curly whiskers that we've ever seen. Scooby has a touch of anxiety and absolutely loves his people. They have not lived with kids or cats before, but they may be able to do well with older, savvy, and gentle children in the home who know how to respect their space at first. As senior dogs, Scooby and Brandy should receive routine medical care to help them feel healthy, loved, and spoiled throughout their golden years. Meet Valentino! This little man is playful, affectionate, and absolutely adorable. He's a total lap dog and often wants nothing more than a good cuddle session. When cuddles aren't available? Give him a stuffy and he'll prance around the yard showing off his prize and nibbling it until he finds the squeaker. Valentino is still young and he hasn't outgrown his puppy energy - he'd love a family where he can keep happy with walks and play as well as suppling all the love and affection he can handle. Valentino has previously done well with dogs but has no experience with cats. We would recommend a slow introduction to any resident cats to ensure that all animals are safe and comfortable. Valentino can be somewhat high-strung at times and is reactive to new people when in busy environments.
