Story
Meet Callisto — an 8-pound, 1-year-old Lhasa Apso mix who appears to be powered by zoomies, squeaky toys, and pure enthusiasm for existence. 🚀🐾
At just 1 year old, this Lhasa Apso mix is basically a jumping bean who briefly pauses her parkour activities for cuddles and checking in on her human before resuming liftoff.
She’s a pro at:
• Couch parkour
• Stuffed-toy wrestling
• Snow zoomies
• Claiming laps as her personal property
Potty training is going great, and foster mom is helping her learn that human hands are not chew toys (squeakers = yes, fingers = no). She’s happy to greet new friends on the floor, but if you’re holding her? Congratulations, you’ve been chosen. She may feel the need to announce that you belong to her now.
Callisto would thrive with an adopter who appreciates a spirited and affectionate pup who loves hard, plays harder, and believes laps are a limited resource worth protecting.
If you’re ready for nonstop laughs, endless cuddles, and an 8-pound blur of joy, Callisto is ready to bounce straight into your heart. 💥💛

Callisto is being fostered in Auburn, MA.
The adoption fee is $500.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
