Story
Meet Albie! 🐾 Albie is a spirited 2-year-old who brings plenty of personality, smarts, and fun to the table! He’s already house-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable being left alone, making him a pretty great roommate once he’s settled into his routine. Albie also does well with other dogs and enjoys getting out for walks. He’s an active, clever guy who will keep you laughing with his mischievous personality, but when it comes to his home life, Albie is looking for a quieter, more predictable environment. New people can be a little overwhelming for Albie at first. He needs time to get comfortable with unfamiliar visitors and may bark while he works through those big feelings. Because of this, his ideal home is one without a lot of new people constantly coming and going. Once Albie knows you and understands that you're part of his circle, he can relax and let his personality shine! Albie is looking for an adult-only home with a securely fenced backyard. This isn't because he dislikes children, but because a quieter adult household is much better suited to his need for slower, more controlled introductions to new people. For the same reason, apartment living isn't the right fit for Albie. He'd be happiest in a home where he has his own outdoor space and doesn't have to regularly navigate close encounters with unfamiliar neighbors and visitors. His ideal adopter will understand that Albie doesn't need to be the life of the party. He needs someone willing to advocate for him, give him appropriate introductions, and provide the structure and predictability that help him feel secure. If your idea of home is more quiet nights and a familiar crew than a revolving door of guests, Albie might fit right in. 🖤🐾 All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Meet happy-go-lucky-go-happy Ron! Ron is a 1.5 year old Havanese mix who still has ALL his puppy love and energy to give his forever family. Ron is very sweet and loyal but sometimes he gets nervous around new people so he would do best in a home without children under 5 and an experienced dog owner while he gets to know and love his new forever home. Ron will thrive in a home with a back yard and a play pal is a MUST! BIG bonus if his play pal is BIG because Ron is a little guy with BIG energy to match. Ron is quick and nimble and could be a potential flight risk in the beginning, but he quickly warms up so this will likely be short lived. More than anything, Ron is a bundle of energy and fun and will bring BIG love to his new home! Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting tzrinquiries@tzuzoorescue.com. [NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.

Story
Meet Luna - Love Worth Waiting For Luna is a sweet little Havanese mix who is just beginning to discover what it means to be a loved family dog. After spending much of her life as a breeding dog with very little human interaction, she's learning that people can be kind, patient, and safe. Luna may be wary of unfamiliar men at first and will need slow introductions and the opportunity to approach new people on her own terms. Each day, Luna grows a little braver. She's recently discovered the joy of zoomies, enjoys relaxing on the back of the couch, and takes great comfort in the company of the small dogs in her foster home. Because of this, she'd do best in a home with another friendly small dog to help build her confidence. Luna is crate trained, is making great progress with house training, and enjoys eating her meals and treats in the security of her crate. She prefers a calm, quiet home where she can adjust at her own pace. Luna isn't an instant lap dog, but for the family willing to be patient, watching her confidence grow and earning her trust will be incredibly rewarding. If you're looking for a gentle companion and understand that the best relationships take time, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family. ##2758603##

Story
Dean Martin is quite the cutie with a matching personality. He loves all dogs and loves to stroll around the back yard with his little scruffy dog pack. He's affectionate and sassy all in the same package. Dean Martin was rescue only due to being terrified in the shelter, he immediately bloomed when his foster mom picked him up and he's had just shown us how great of a boy he is ever since. Don't pass by this boy and miss out on a perfect little guy.
