This sensitive boy has lots of energy and so much love to give, but the shelter environment has been very stressful for him. Despite that, he remains an absolute sweetheart—and once you meet him, it’s impossible not to fall in love. Daniel traveled all the way from Oklahoma in hopes of finding his happy ending, and he truly deserves it. He can startle easily, so he’s looking for a calm, patient home that will help him settle in and learn that the world isn’t as scary as it sometimes feels. With kindness, routine, and reassurance, Daniel will blossom into an incredibly devoted companion. He gets along well with other dogs and would benefit from canine friends who can help show him the ropes. If you’re someone with a soft heart, a gentle voice, and the patience to help a sensitive pup shine, Daniel the Lionheart may be the brave, loving best friend you’ve been waiting for
