Hello, my name is Rusty. I’m a breeder release, and I came into rescue with my very best friend Fancy, another lovely mini poodle. We were a breeding pair. Life is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me, but with time and kindness, I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’m very shy around people because I didn’t get much socialization early in life. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I become shyly playful, especially with my foster mom. I’m still figuring out this whole “being loved” thing, and patient humans make all the difference. Where I truly shine is with other dogs. If you have a friendly, social dog at home, I bloom into a bouncy, happy boy. Without another dog, I become lonely and unsure—so I must have a canine companion in my forever home. My dream home would even include my bestie Fancy; she’s a slightly bigger version of me, wonderfully outgoing, and she helps me feel brave. My potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best every day. I am not currently leash trained but working on it. Best in a fenced yard. Pansy is as gentle as she is adorable. This shy, sweet bundle of curls is curious about everything and everyone — she loves to explore her surroundings, watch the world outside through the window and play in the yard. As a breeder release, Pansy is still getting used to the big world and can be shy at times. She’d love a quiet home where she can have furry friends to play and cuddle with, or a human who can give her plenty of attention and affection. She’s fully potty trained (yay!) and has been learning to walk on a leash. She’s still not quite sure about leash walking and will need lots of practice and patience, but she’s eager to please and responds well to gentle encouragement. For now Pansy will need a securely fenced in yard to play and do her business. At times she needs help getting through the door to go in and outside. With her soft curls, kind eyes, and loving personality, Pansy is sure to win your heart the moment you meet her. Fancy truly lives up to her name. She likes to prance around and show off like the fancy girl she is. She’s very snuggly and up for any adventure! Just like any princess, she’s great at potty training and is learning to walk on her leash. She gets along with dogs, cats and children- she loves to run and play with her friends! If you need a little elegance and love in your life look no further than this sweet girl! Fancy is a breeder release and came in with Rusty, a mini version of Fancy. Fancy can be high energy and has energetic play. She is 14 lbs. She will be getting spayed and having a dental cleaning on Dec.3th and can be adopted once healed.
