*Max is currently in a foster home- apply online and a PCHS staff member will be in touch to set up an appointment for you to meet him,Meet Max! Max is a 1 year old goldendoodle who came to PCHS through a valued Veterinary partner when he was sick and needed help. Sweet Max had Parvovirus, and needed medical attention right away. He spent a few days at the vet, and once he was through the worst of it, he was able to go to one of our wonderful foster homes to continue his recovery. Now he`s feeling great, and is ready to find his forever home! Max is showing his true `puppy` demeanor- wants to play and cause mischief on a daily basis! He`s also lovingly referred to by his foster dad as a `velcro dog`, so say goodbye to personal space with this cutie around! Although, who really wants personal space when the clingy friend is as cute as Max?! Max does great going potty outside and keeping the house clean from potty accidents. He does enjoy shredding stuffies and chewing the occasional item that he should not, so he will need help knowing what is and is not for him! Max would love to have a nice big yard to do his zoomies in too! If you think this boy is the one for you, apply online! *Max will be getting neutered on 8/6/26 and will be unavailable for appointments that day. *Applications for adoption can be found on the homepage of the website.**Adoption fee: $400 + $30 microchip fee + tax

## Meet Turner ❤️ Turner is a very special red Standard Poodle puppy who is looking for a very special forever family. At just 8 weeks old, Turner was surrendered by a breeder because they felt he was “off in the head.” After three weeks of fostering him, we can tell you this: Turner may be a little different, but he is absolutely amazing. ❤️ Turner is blind and deaf and has some neurological challenges, including **Vestibular and Cerebellar Dysfunction**. He loves to go in circles, can be a little slow to process things, and sometimes gets frustrated. But none of that has stopped this sweet boy from being a happy, loving puppy who enjoys life to the fullest. He **LOVES treats and chew toys** and we’re pretty sure he has an incredible sense of smell—he definitely knows when treats are nearby! 😄 He has become familiar with his foster family’s backyard and is learning more about his world every day. He is comfortable in his kennel, sleeps through the night, and is working hard on potty training. He has even started making the cutest little barks when he’s hanging out in his x-pen. 🥹 Like any puppy, Turner has razor-sharp puppy teeth and will sometimes nip or bite, especially when he becomes frustrated. We redirect him with rope toys, chew toys, and treats, and he continues to learn. Turner is not looking for a perfect family—he’s looking for a **patient, loving family who will see the wonderful puppy underneath his challenges**. He will need someone willing to give him time, understanding, consistency, and lots and lots of love. His world may be different from other puppies, but he has so much love to give in return. ❤️ **Due to not being able to see and hear, it will be a requirement that Turner has another dog in the home to guide him. Please also look into how to train a dog who can't see or hear. **Turner’s adoption fee is $450 plus tax.** Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org
